Eavesway Or Intercruises?

13 posts in this topic

We have travelled on Eavesway and Portlink. Both fautless! I love the ease and convenience and for us it means our holiday starts from the moment we get on the coach. It also means on the last night we don't have to worrry about the long drive home if we want to have a little tipple ;)

I have family & friends who have travelled with Eavsway, one who has mobility limitations, they had nothing but praise for the service they gave so I would have no problems in saying Eavsway.

Eavesway are a professional family run company who own their own coaches and have years of experience, Intercruise are a company who dont own anything, they just contract coaches at the lowest price they can find and if service suffers then so be it.

I wouldnt even hesitate

Eavesway seem to have been treated rather badly by P & O,etc. We mainly drive but when we did use Eavesway we had no faults with them. They appeared to have had new coaches and had P & O/Cunard/Celeb/etc sign written on them, possibly at their own expence. Expect they were bullied into dropping their prices in line with P & O's other money saving schemes.

I think everybody should petition P&O asking them to reinstate Eavesway as the preferred coach operator IMO they might listen if they realize how unhappy people are with the present operator ;)

P & O wanted an extra £500,000 from Eavesway to advertise in their brochure plus 71/2% commission on all bookings.

Eavesway told where to put it and then expanded their service to cover all sailings from Southampton and actually signed a contarct with Fred Olsen too.

Change is for 2 years in the first instance

Very professional - Eavesway every time for us.

In 3 weeks time we will just be arriving in Southmpton from Glasgow - roll on
