You are in for a treat.

We called there a couple of years ago on Fred Olsen's Balmoral and the  smaller ships can get almost into the centre of town.

It's a lovely city, very pretty and some rare buildings. Well done P&O for getting an overnight stay.

The ship berths really close to the centre of the town.  Great for pottering.

In the summer months there is an open topped tourist bus which departs from just outside the cruise terminal and does and hour long circular route.

Depending on what you are interested in there are some great and unusual museums in Antwerp.  There is a fascinating collection of old musical instruments in a lovely old building just off the main square in the Vleeshuis (Butchers Hall).  There is also a wonderful museum marking the history of printing just a few streets down from where the ship berths at the Plantin Moretus Museum.  There is often a flea market right outside the entrance to this museum.

It's a beautiful city!

Will also be interested in details of the port of Antwerp and surrounding areas. It would be good to know what tours are recommended and also if it is just worth a visit to town.
