Happy July 4th to all Americans.  I love travelling to America, stayed in Miami a few times and had a fantastic time in New York, but what is your favourite place in the USA or is there anything you have always wanted to do?

For me it’s got to be New Orleans the Mardi Gras and Nashville.

Oh I really miss independance day! I used to work at a camp in New York in the summer and 4th July was a huge event. We'd have a bbq, water slides, water carnival, parades, we all used to dress up and have out face painted. then one the kids were asleep the liquer would come out and we'd have a party whilst watching the fireworks over New York.

One year it was my day off and so we went into the NYC that was brilliant. The fireworks were fantastic!

As for my favourtite place in the USA, I have travelled to 34 states and each one is very different and unique! Love them all!! Don't think I could ever pick a favourite to be honest! Although New York will always be special to me as that was the place I worked.

Hi Rum+Sum, there are a few suggestions in this blog post of what to do with your time in Nashville and Memphis. Hope this helps!

I love the USA. Fortunate enough to have been to a few places there, travelling to Last Vegas in September, San Fran is top of my list to visit next. x
