Excursions In Turkey

4 posts in this topic

Going to stop in Turkey, this summer, and have just read FCO advice. It says you do not need a visa if staying in the port area and on a cruise ship but does this mean you need one to go on an excursion out of the city?

No..as long as you return to your ship at night.

From the Gov. Uk website.

British nationals need a visa to travel to Turkey (except for cruise ship passengers with ‘British Citizen’ passports entering the country for a day trip, remaining in the port of embarkation and returning to the ship the same day)
