The Baltic cruise is the most amazing and memorable cruise you will ever do. As with most cruises the best clothes to take are ones that you can layer.

The dates you have booked early June, the weather should be really good - because, as the Baltic countries are so much further north than Britain their seasons are earlier - when you get to August it is Autumn in these countries. Do enjoy.

I agree with baggalus, the best clothes to take are the ones that you can layer. If the weather changes drastically, from hot to cold, or vice versa you’ll have no worries then.

We went on Arcadia in May.

I think this summed up the level of warm clothing in Tallin...

So expect a little warmer in June and adjust accordingly.

We have been to the Baltic three times earliest 3rd may and the latest July. We have had hot sunny days every time although it was cold and wet a couple of days on the May cruise. We had one wet day on the June cruise and one dull day on the July cruise a better ratio of good days than on Med cruises. Most ports if you research beforehand are better doing your own thing. In St Petersburg I would recommend booking with a local company it took us until our 3rd visit to pluck up the courage to do this and wish we had done this before, we used SPB but Alla tours are also recommended.
