Princess Cruises Add The Voice To Entertainment

5 posts in this topic

So I see Princess Cruises have announced a new entertainment idea today bringing The Voice to the seas. Read the news on Bolsovers site and to me it all sounds a bit gimmicky. What's everyone else's opinion on this?

Maybe I'm against it because I can't string two notes together but the idea of The Voice of the Ocean being on board would not interest me at all and would definitely not influence my decision to book a cruise with Princess, well it might but it would influence me against booking with them tongue.png

I like The Voice on BBC and find it entertaining sometimes but I can't quite see the same atmosphere being captured on board a Princess cruise when the big red chair spins round and it's a member of the entertainment crew rather than Tom Jones or Will.I.Am. It might just be me but this seems like a very random thing for Princess to announce as major news.

For anyone that wants to take a look at what I'm on about, I saw it on Facebook earlier and found the story here - http://www.bolsovercruiseclub.com/news/2015/08/05/37859-princess-cruises-announce-collaboration-with-the-voice/

I also agree Sammy Sun this does sound a tad too gimmicky for my liking. Is it not just going to be a more hyped up version of karaoke? Like you've already mentioned knowing that it's just a member of the entertainment crew behind the ‘I want you’ chairs hardly makes its stand out in mind.
