The best thing I've read lately was a book called Delirium by Lauren Oliver. Its a trilogy and I've only read the first two so far, (there's Pandemonium and then finishes with Requiem which I'm saving for my hols next week) but it completely sucks you in to a different world and I couldn't put it down. I recommended it to my sister and she is hooked as well.

The Secret Mandarin by Sara Sheridan is also a great holiday read.

For easy reading I recommend any Jill Mansell. Read one of her books a few years ago on a cruise and couldn't set it down...always make sure I have one of her books in my bag for holidays

I can recommend reading "The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society", especially if one of the ports on your cruise is St Peter Port in Guernsey.

Enjoy!

Yeah, I thoroughly agree Happy Boating, this is a great book. I was given this as a gift and have since bought it for other people and I've never come across anyone who didn't love reading this!

I've just finished reading 'Just what kind of mother are you?' by Paula Daly. It is a crime thriller, about a child who goes missing, I could hardly put it down because I wanted to see what happened next. I've also just read Apple Tree Yard by Louise Doughty one of Richard and Judy's book club books. This is also a riveting book, about an older woman who has a fling with a chap, but it all ends rather badly, there's a bit of naughty sex in it too, I wasn't sure if I would be repelled by these books but bought them anyway, both are a good tale.
