Celebrity Eclipse With Kids

3 posts in this topic

We have always cruised with P&O but fancy a change and fancy the Baltic as a change from the med

Has anyone done this cruise in school holidays ? (August)

The kids will be 10 and 13 are desperate to go back to P & O and I can't see anywhere any reviews from families that have done this and whether there were sufficient kids on board , as appears families head for the sun !

Just got back a couple of weeks ago on Eclipse to the Norwegian Fjords. I have a 15 year old son and he was in the kids club every day. There are not as many kids as there would be on a cruise to the sun but that is possibly a good thing. Less overcrowding of the club and when there are fewer kids there, they will get more individual attention from the team.

Heading away from the sun, does mean that families are less likely to head to these places and the kids clubs will be less crowded (like Kite63 has already mentioned), but on the plus side this will mean that the kids in the clubs will get more attention from the staff.
