Celebrity Classics Beverage Package

8 posts in this topic

We enjoyed this package on Infinity last year. It was a great deal as part of the 123Go deal at the time. We have a similar package on Eclipse this September out of Southampton. Does anyone know if drinks and cocktails are available as part of the package in all bars, or is it restricted to certain bars only?

Hi dapper1946,

I believe you will find that drinks and cocktails, to the value included in whichever package you have, are available in any bar or restaurant to which you have access.

Having sailed recently on Eclipse with a drinks package I'm happy to confirm that the package is valued throughout the ship as long as your drink price is within your given limit.

What I really liked was that once the restaurant staff knew you they would leave the bottle rather than keep coming back to top your glass up.

Knew v Remembered v Couldn't possibly forget you!

Methinks it could be indeed the latter somehow!

In your case it might be easier for them just to leave you the bottle than have to suffer you by returning at regular intervals to top up your glass! tongue.png

Now, now 132LK132, that's rather insulting. Friendly forum rules remember!!

Heading to Eclipse this weekend and can say, anyone getting free Drinks Package should be thankful, the cost of buying even the Classic is outrageous.  Wife and I are not big drinkers any longer and would find it impossible to reach even half cost of Package.  As I enjoy a G&T before dinner I saw Stateroom Bar Package offered, expecting to order a decent bottle of Gin and some Fever Tree Tonics and possibly doing it again halfway through the cruise, but when I eventually found the booking system, was when I got a big shock.  The cost is 'from' £65 per day, per person, what does Celebrity think I want to do, invite the rest of the Deck to my cabin for a booze-up???  Hopefully I will get to order a bottle from Room Service to celebrate my 81st Birthday between Azores and Madeira.

I think you may have misread the pricing. According to the Celebrity UK web site, the classic stateroom bar set up, which includes Beefeater Gin is £52 per package. The Premium is £65 per package. It doesn't mention the size of the bottle, or how many mixers are included, but it definitely states the price is per package, not per person per day. I would think it would be worth a phone call to check the details.
