P&O Britannia B628 September Iberia

1 post in this topic

I liken beautiful Britannia to a box of superior grade chocolates. The decor is wonderful, chocoalate colours from cream to dark brown which blend beautifully with the golden embelishments.

As with a box of chocolates there is a lot of choice when it comes to dining and being entertained. The choice is endless. There is something to please eveyone. The various dining venues and the not to be mised Limlight club are a delight.

On my recent cruise to the wonderful Iberian coast I could either choose culture, shopping or staying on board to sample the delights of Britannia's many open and spacious decks.

The cabins were pristine, the staff as always helpful. Many people who have not been on this beautiful ship say 'oh its too big', yet all of the public areas are in close proximity, I do not see her size as being a problem only a delight.

As with a box of chocolates there is always somehong not to your taste. For me the lack of a prominade deck and central staircase to the higher decks was a loss. However Britannias good points more than make up for this.

As with any Box of chocolates you are left wanting more when it is empty. Oh yes I want more of Britannia (did I mention this was my third time on this ship?)

Only one thing for me to do. Get the P&O brochure out to plan my next indulgance.
