Klm Flights & Fly Blue Members

8 posts in this topic

For European KLM flights booked on or after 14 May 2013, KLM will charge a fee for checking in a first bag in Economy Class. However, as a Flying Blue member, you can still check in your first baggage item free of charge.

You can register on line, has anyone done this? How did it work, just a bit nervous about it?

its really simple, on the main klm website, just click register to be a blue member, and it just asks for your details, and that is literally it, it will then give you your blue flying numbers, and you will just let your agent know to pass this on to the airline or just let klm know direct and this will be added. simples!! :D

It does get you on their mailing list, but you can opt out immediately you get the first email if you want to. Some of their offers are quite good, so I stayed on the list and last week's message had a bargain price for the Dubai flight I was watching for.
