We brought you all the news from our ship visit to the see the brand new Royal Princess last week but she’s not the only ship Bolsover Cruise Club staff have visited recently. Some of our Sales Consultants made the trip to Southampton to see the Oceania Marina.
The Marina and her sister vessel Riviera are the latest additions to the Oceania fleet and are considered two of the most beautiful ships to debut in recent years. The most striking features of these vessels are the designer touches including the amazing Laique grand staircase and the incredible Owners’ Suites, furnished by none other than Ralph Lauren Home design. These magnificent suites are the showcase of the Marina and provide some of the most spectacular accommodation at sea.
Bolsover Cruise Club Sales Consultants Kay and Jessica visited the Marina and had nothing but good words to say. They loved the ship and thought the design was very impressive with a welcoming feel of elegance in the style of a country manor hotel. That’s enough from me, I’ll hand over to Kay to take you through the visit of the ship.
It’s my pleasure to take you through our exciting ship visit to see the Oceania Marina. The food made the biggest impression on us and we loved the main restaurant on board. Oceania are all about the cuisine and that really does reflect as I have never experienced food and service like it. A major feature and one of the best enrichment programmes we have seen for some time is Bon Appetite. This is a cooking school and the chance to learn with expert master chefs. It is definitely worth noting that this is extremely popular on board and does book up very quickly so be sure to book as soon as possible.
The speciality restaurant on board are also amazing and become part of the whole Oceania cruising experience. This cruise line really is all about the unique dining opportunities and there are so many different venues to choose from, it’s impossible to get bored. Also, all the speciality restaurants are included in the price of the cruise so no add-on fees or extra payments to worry about whatsoever. One of the most unique and fantastic
speciality restaurants on board is called Privee. This is an eight seater exclusive restaurant and costs $250 to dine in. If you can fill it with friends, it will certainly bring the cost down and is definitely worth it. This is a fabulous exclusive dining experience where you will be treated to an incredible dining experience like never before. Here you will enjoy something truly special with a range of fascinating dishes and a behind the scenes guide from your very own dedicated master chefs.
The Marina is a wonderful ship and should definitely be considered for a beautiful luxury cruising experience. Oceania class themselves as “upper premium” but we considered them to be one of the best cruise lines we have had the pleasure of witnessing. The marvellous ship really is exceptional and we cannot recommend the cruise line enough to our clients.
