Kayaking on the Costa Brava
Get out of the city and onto the beach on a kayak and snorkel tour of nearby Costa Brava’s islets, caves and coastline. This full-day tour starts with a private coach transfer to Costa Brava, a scenic couple of hours along the coast. Once there, you’ll head straight for the sand and into your kayak. Professional guides will have you suited and booted with everything you need, before giving you a guided tour of the coast via kayak. There’ll be time to snorkel too, getting to know local marine life including octopus, moray eels and more, before you return to the beach and tuck into a picnic. There’s also an option to shun the kayaking and enjoy a beach day instead.
Excursion Barcelona’s ‘Kayaking & Snorkelling Tour’ has been TripAdvisor’s top watersports tour from Barcelona for the last five years.
Excursion Barcelona – €70 per person (or €30 for beach-only option) – Full day
Picnic in a Catalan vineyard with views
Food and wine are two of our great loves, so any tour that combines the two is a clear winner in our book. One for the romantics, the excursion takes place in beautiful Alella, 20 minutes outside of Barcelona, where you will tour an esteemed family winery centred around a rural 14th-century estate. Learn about the production processes before being handed to stroll the surrounding countryside and take in views of the Mediterranean Sea. Once you have found the perfect spot, a picnic basket full of local seasonal produce and a bottle of Bouquet d’A Blanc created at the vineyard is a dreamy way to refuel.
Foodie & Tours – From €38 per person – 3.5 hours (does not include travel to Alella)
