Princess Cruises has announced alterations to its 2021 Alaska and Europe cruise programs, with Majestic Princess set to operate an inaugural season in Alaska, while Regal Princess will return to Europe and Grand Princess will redeploy on new summer routes along America’s West Coast.
Majestic Princess will replace Regal Princess in Alaska for all voyages in the 2021 season, with the exception of the 4 May 2021 Alaska Sampler itinerary which is now cancelled.
Regal Princess will cruise from Southampton throughout the summer 2021 season, replacing Grand Princess as she departs for a season of sailings to the Mexican Riviera and coast of California, cruising from Los Angeles for the summer. More details of Grand Princess itineraries are set to be released soon, according to a statement from Princess Cruises.
Regal Princess is part of Princess’ Medallion Class of ships, featuring the innovative OceanMedallion concept. The wearable OceanMedallion enables guests to do everything from making purchases to unlocking cabin doors using touchless technology and ordering food and drink direct to their lounger by the pool.
