P&O Cruises ‘Strictly Come Dancing Themed Cruises’ and ‘Music Festival at Sea’
Continuing an already successful collaboration, P&O Cruises and Strictly Come Dancing are taking their partnership into 2015 with four more themed cruises.
Four of the P&O Cruises fleet will visit the Mediterranean and Canary Islands, with each cruise seeing professional dancers, judges and guests from the BBC series take over the ship for a sequin-filled extravaganza. The experience promises performances galore as well as a chance to meet the stars of the show for behind the scenes gossip, Q&A sessions and even a cheeky dance lesson.
P&O Cruises famous Music Festival at Sea continues into its 31st year on board Adonia. April, May and October 2015 will see festivities hosted by radio and television personalities, accompanied by renowned international instrumentalists and singers.
The Music Festival at Sea focuses largely on classical and operatic genres, with passengers having the opportunity to experience opera, operetta, recitals, music quizzes and interviews with some of the most respected artists in the world.
Fred Olsen ‘Land of the Vikings Cruise’
Climb aboard Boudicca and prepare to begin your Viking adventure. The 7 night ‘Land of the Vikings’ cruise will take in the peaks and pinnacles of Norway over the course of five port visits, each of them designed with the Vikings in mind.
You’ll start by docking in the colourful port of Oslo, home to the Viking ship museum. Pointed ears are optional but encouraged on board the J.R.R. Tolkien Cruise. Hosted in collaboration between Royal Caribbean International and Trilo3y Voyages, the three day itinerary takes J.R.R. Tolkien’s most diehard fans on a roundtrip from Southampton to Paris and Bruges.
Actors with starring roles in the classic J.R.R. Tolkien movies including The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit will host Q&A sessions, while Royd Tolkien, grandson of the great author himself, will also be in attendance.
