Having risen in both stature and reputation, Bolsover Cruise Club inevitably required larger premises as time went by over the many years of our existence. Starting from just an intimate office building in Bolsover we have gone on to be based in a state of the art facility, designed to provide the perfect setting for our customers. Not only do we welcome our clients to our wealth of cruising knowledge, we are also proud to welcome them to our building.
There is no doubt that the majority of cruise passengers these days often do most of their research on the internet or by phone. You may call us a little old fashioned but we see it the complete opposite. As well as our leading website and telephone connection facilities for our customers, we also house an industry first Cruise Bureau based here at our offices. We think the opposite as the introduction of the Cruise Bureau gave us multiple platforms to offer our customers, ensuring that all preferences of customer service were catered for. Guests preferring to contact us by telephone were able to continue doing so but there was now also the opportunity to come and see us in person amongst our stylish surroundings. When introduced, the Cruise Bureau provided our customers with an alternative point of contact for the many thousands of our members who live close by to our Barlborough residence. Since it’s unveiling however, the Cruise Bureau has gone from strength to strength and now welcomes our members from all over the country, some travelling from far and wide to visit us.
The concept behind the development of the Cruise Bureau was to simply provide our customers with another option of getting in touch with us. This diversity enabled them to be able to reach in many different ways, making us always available to answer any queries they may have. The use of the internet for travel is undeniably fantastic, as are the benefits that can be achieved simply by picking up the phone but we always felt there was one thing missing. There is nothing like the personal touch and service that is achieved from a face to face experience. Whilst we had always provided this option, we thought it was time to expand and felt we ought to be providing our members with this option. Many of our clients have stated just how much they love being able to call in for advice and to call on our expertise, adding the personal touch and having based the need for this new facility at the time on the number of personal visitors we were receiving at our previous premises, we decided the time was right.
The Cruise Bureau became an industry first phenomenon, offering customers a comfortable setting to come and discuss their holiday, witnessing first-hand the time and effort we put into ensuring we remain the number one independent cruise agent in the UK. We have always been delighted with our Cruise Bureau facility and our premises provide both wonderfully aesthetic and functional surroundings for our cruise experts to take care of their clients. The Cruise Bureau is something we are extremely proud of.
Having developed the idea when at our previous premises, we were just waiting for the time to be right to put our plans into motion. Sadly at the time, our previous facility was not of an adequate or appropriate size to be able to house or innovational ideas and therefore the ‘Barlborough Two’ was born. Our brand new building became the forefront of cruising and has continued to dominate the industry ever since. We identified a great opportunity to provide this unique personal experience for our customers and have been incredibly pleased with the end result. Our new facility provides a fantastic spacious and comfortable Cruise Bureau, which has been purposely designed to take care of our members that enjoy booking in person. We’re open to the public six days a week by appointment or simply if you feel like popping in to say hello. There are no restrictions to our personal service and we encourage you to head in whenever you feel like it to come see our excellent facilities and let us plan the perfect cruise for you.
So what was the logic behind the design? Well we decided we wanted to create something completely unique that would welcome our customers into our world and invite them to see what goes on behind the scenes so to speak at Bolsover Cruise Club. We wanted to achieve these factors but also ensure that the Cruise Bureau provided a quiet, peaceful place for customers to come and discuss their holiday plans with us. With that in mind, we designed the Cruise Bureau to be just set back from our call centre and offices in order to make sure that private conversation could be achieved whilst ensuring the Cruise Bureau still remained an integral feature for visitors to be able to our cruise experts at work in the usual surroundings. It has been both a modern and highly successful addition to our ranks and we could not be happier with the results it has achieved.
The Cruise Bureau shows that not only do we cater for our clients modern world demands having introduced our brand new website this year, we also ensure that the good old fashioned face to face approach is still at the very forefront of our minds. There really is nothing like the personal touch and with our one2one service, such great relationships have been built between our cruise experts and customers that we often don’t even need you to tell us, we already know what you’re looking for.
The creation and continuous development of the Cruise Bureau shows that we continue to lead the field in terms of services provided for our clients and in terms of innovation. We are delighted with just how popular our Cruise Bureau has become not only with our many members calling in to say hello but also with the representatives of the cruise lines as well. If you haven’t already done so, then call in and come and say hello.
