Summer 2016 promises to be an exciting time, not just for Regent Seven Seas Cruises, but for the cruise industry in general, as a ship billed as the most luxurious of all time finally takes to the seas. Back in February, we gave you a snapshot of what to expect, with the first lot of images filling us with anticipation for the launch of Regent Seven Seas Explorer. Now, over six months later, we are back with another update and a brand new tempting look at the luxury you can expect to encounter on board.
Brand new images of Regent Seven Seas Explorer depict a dark and sultry Explorer Lounge, clad in shades of teal and gold. The Chartreuse Restaurant is revealed as an art deco haven, golden fretwork and dark wood creating a glamorous finish. We’ve drooled over the thought of afternoons spent in the infinity pool that sits just outside a spa that looks a lot to us like nirvana. We also had our heads turned by photographs taken at the Fincantieri ship yard in Italy, where not only did the keel laying ceremony take place, but also a grand reveal of some of the suites set to feature aboard RSSC Explorer. We would compare the expertly designed interiors to those found in a world-class boutique hotel, however we will leave it to you to decide once you have rested your head on the pillows, relaxed on chenille sofas and sipped a pre-dinner drink in the privacy of your vista garden.
What do you think to the latest images of this extraordinary ship? Will you be stepping aboard to experience the luxury first hand?
