Right about now letterboxes across the country will be making a familiar clatter as the latest issue of our free Into The Blue cruise magazine magazine arrives through doors.
The popularity of Bolsover Cruise Club’s free quarterly travel magazine has skyrocketed since its launch in July 2013 and each issue now reaches around 90,000 readers across the whole of the UK.
This number is rising rapidly with each new issue and, along with the Cruise Club Forum, Into The Blue is becoming the go to place for the latest news, destination guides and insider knowledge for Bolsover Cruise Club customers. We all love a good read and when you love cruising as much as we do the opportunity to combine both is a great one.
Into The Blue was designed to provide our customers with a greater insight into the world of cruising and with this in mind we wanted to give you the lowdown on the much loved magazine.
What exactly is it? What makes it such a good read? Why do our customers look forward to the new issue landing on their doorstep?
Let’s take a look at Into The Blue’s statistics;
– We now have 90,000 readers across the UK
– We have interviewed 5 industry professionals in our ‘We Caught Up With…’ feature
– There have been 3 ‘behind the scenes’ insights from Bolsover Cruise Club staff
– Our first edition was just 32 pages but edition six was 52 pages – we are growing!
So, what is on those glossy pages?
The ‘Cruise News’ pages of Into The Blue are a gathering place for breaking news every issue. It’s a place to find out about the newest ships, multi-million pound makeovers, new on board experiences and all the new developments at Bolsover Cruise Club. If it’s happening, it’s here!
Each issue of Into The Blue has a new Destination Focus. Issue 6 sees us experience ‘A Taste Of The Orient’ with a focus on the kaleidoscope of cultures in Hong Kong, Singapore and Phuket. The Destination Focus feature has previously looked given insights into the Canaries, the Mediterranean, Northern Europe and the Caribbean, and is one of the most popular features in the whole magazine. Where will we venture to next?
Bolsover Cruise Club staff have spent a collective 8,903 nights at sea (and counting); we know cruising and we feel it’s only fair to share our secret insider knowledge with our customers. Into The Blue is our chance to pass on tips for cruisers both new and seasoned, so whether you’re not sure what to pack for Formal Nights, wondering which river cruise takes in the best waterways in the world or even if you’re just not sure what happens after you’ve booked, we’ve got it covered.
Interviews and Insights from Behind the Scenes
We know our customers love everything about the world of cruise, so we wanted to give them you the chance to go behind the scenes at both Bolsover Cruise Club and with some of the biggest cruise lines in the world.
Each issue of Into The Blue will see us catch up with an industry insider from one of the leading cruise operators and is their chance to tell you exactly what cruising means to them. We’ll find out what we can look forward to for the coming year, what new experiences can be expected and even which of the on board restaurants they deem their favourite. They might even reveal a few secrets along the way…
Our popular ‘Under the Spotlight’ feature is a behind the scenes look at what happens right here at the Bolsover Cruise Club offices. Each issue will see a different member of staff go ‘under the spotlight’ and is a unique opportunity to find out how they fit into the Bolsover Cruise Club team and how their cruising expertise benefits our customers every day. We love a little holiday talk so we’ll find out their favourite cruise destination too.
We like to intersperse all this fascinating content with some of the best cruise deals from across our range of cruise operators. After all, it wouldn’t be fair for us to show you all of these amazing destinations without showing you the best ways to get there!
Customers already registered to receive Into The Blue should welcome issue 6 any day now; don’t forget to let us know what you think!
