The crystal clear waters and white sandy beaches of the Bahamas are calling your name; so what are you waiting for? Majesty of the Seas will fill your days with the feel good treatment you deserve. As the most intimate ship in the Royal Caribbean fleet, Majesty of the Seas is all about seeing the world in style.
With 14 decks, there’s no time to waste when it comes to exploring ship; leave the guide in your cabin and explore the cruise ship your own way. Don’t worry about getting lost, in our opinion it is all part of the fun and someone will always be around to point you in the right direction if you do. After your explorations you can get your caffeine fix in Café Latte-tudes, dropping by for a warm mug of cappuccino and a sweet treat, before sinking into a comfortable spot and enjoying a cosy hour to yourself.
Have you ever wanted to climb a floating mountain? Maybe we’re exaggerating a little, but the climbing wall on board Majesty of the Seas offers a view just as good as that at the top of a mountain, thanks to its position 200ft above the ocean. Challenge friends, mum, dad, or anyone else who dares and see who can scramble to the top first.
Wind down on the Sun Deck, feel good with a leisurely length or two one of the ship’s pools, pamper yourself with a spa treatment or hit it hard at the gym, giving your mind a distraction from the thought of the delicious food that awaits you in the Windjammer buffet, Pool Grill and elsewhere on board. Shopping the designer boutiques in the ship’s ten story Centrum is a great way to pass a couple of hours between daytime fun in the pool and evening entertainment.
Head to the Windjammer Café for laidback dining and dig into an array of buffet food from across the globe. You’ll have no qualms about the kids not finding something they’ll enjoy, so gather the troops and head right this way. The Compass Deli is an equally tasty alternative to the Windjammer Café, where you’ll find a complimentary range of salads, soups, paninis, quesadillas, made-to-order sandwiches, savoury and sweet crepes, cookies and ice cream. We’re hungry just thinking about it!
For a slice of all things Italian and some of the best pizza around look no further than Sorrento’s. Forget about using a knife and fork – pick it up by the slice and tuck into melted cheese galore with all the toppings you could ever think of, from sizzling pepperoni, smoky ham, mushrooms, pineapple and more!
You’ll hear the 1950’s jazz music before you see the all-American diner of Johnny Rockets, which is a firm favourite amongst the families. Aside from gloopy milkshakes widely recognised as the best in the business, Johnny Rockets also serves up some of the best burgers and fries on board.
Decorated with fresh colours and images of spring, the Moonlight Dining Room is just one of the two main dining rooms on board, with the other known as the Starlight Dining Room. Both of these dining venues have extensive menus, first-class service and innovative chefs who are always creating new tasty treats for you to enjoy day in-day out.
Best compared to the lobby of a particularly grand hotel, the Centrum is a ten-story atrium surrounded by bars and lounges, where you can swing by anytime of the night, let your hair down loose and dance like nobody is watching. Drop by the Schooner Bar and dive into a Gin and Tonic or a speciality martini, making the most of the relaxed nautical ambience. For a more up-tempo beat, where you can Rumba on the dance floor, cha-cha over to the bar or just watch from the side-lines, head to the Boleros Lounge on Deck 7.
Royal Caribbean know their stuff when it comes to entertainment and there’s never a dull moment on board Majesty of the Seas. Named after one of Broadway’s longest running shows, A Chorus Line Lounge is the place to be. Nightly entertainment includes live music, dancing and all-out stage productions and the impressive venue is home to an enormous video wall of 50 individual TV monitors, so you’re guaranteed to never miss a thing.
Is your money burning a hole in your pocket? Live life on the edge, feel your heart in your mouth and take a gamble on a game or two in Casino Royale.
The dress code on board Majesty of the Seas during the day is relaxed and casual, so you can make the most of your holiday without feeling restricted. Let’s face it; wearing your smartest trousers to take on the climbing wall isn’t a good look for anybody!
Smart casual is the norm for evenings on board, with at least one formal night per week. Cocktail dresses, gowns, suits and tuxedos are usually worn during these occasions. Are you keen to avoid formal nights? You’ll be more than welcome to dine in the Windjammer Café where a relaxed dress code is perfectly acceptable throughout the day and night.
