Voyager of the Seas

Is good food your thing? Perhaps you like a bit of adventure? Or maybe you’re looking for all-round family fun? Whatever it is that you’re looking for, Voyager of the Seas has it all. There’s tantalising high-end Italian in Giovanni’s, juicy American burgers in Johnny Rockets, for action and adventure there’s everything from ice-skating to rock climbing and for all round family fun you can hit the sports deck or pool.

Try Something New

Once you’ve mastered ice skating in Studio B and fancy taking on something new, clamber up the rock climbing wall or take up inline-skating up on deck. Elsewhere there’s a full-sized basketball court for some energetic action but are you ready for the challenge of the surf simulator, Flowrider? Not for the faint hearted, you'll need to brace yourself for a whole lot of fun as you take on 60,000 gallons of water as you boogie board the waves trying to stay upright for as long as possible.

Treat Yourself

Allow yourself to slope off to the adults-only Solarium for an hour, or two, where you can take a leisurely swim in the pool and relax in the whirlpool for a true oasis of calm. Afterwards, head to the Vitality Spa at Sea and treat yourself to an array of treatments and packages to ease all your stresses away. Shopaholics be warned, the Royal Promenade is four decks high lined with designer boutiques, a sidewalk café, ice cream parlour, a British style pub and more.

While Away The Night

Broadway shows are performed to perfection in the three-tiered Royal Theatre that will kick start your evening and get you all fired up for the night ahead. Once the entertainment here ends, the big question of all is… where to begin? Choose a bar, lounge or nightclub and enjoy everything from live music to the latest hits to more classical music.  The nautical theme of the Schooners Bar is the perfect place for you to enjoy live piano music and singing. For something a little more up tempo the R Bar has a 1960s vibe with iconic furnishing and classic cocktails, including martini, gin and whiskey all served by the resident mixologist, where a great night is sure to be had.

Wondering which bar or lounge offers the bests views at sea? Look no further than the Viking Crown Lounge that sits high above the sea and perched on the edge of deck 14. Here you can watch the sun set, and rise if you decide to dance the night away whilst singing your heart out to all your favourite hit tunes.

Food For All

It’s safe to say that there will always be something to satisfy any craving anytime of the day aboard Voyager of the Seas. Choose from a selection of different styled restaurants and cafes where you and the family can enjoy melt-in-the-mouth cuisine.

For fresh and flavoursome delights, where you can also cook your meal Ishiyaki style and on a hot rock that’s placed on your table, head to the Asian-inspired venue of Izumi. Chops Grille is Royal Caribbean’s signature steakhouse, serving only the finest cuts of steak, seafood, side dishes and desserts in upscale and contemporary surrounds. Over in Giovanni’s Table you can savour great Italian home cooking in this family-friendly restaurant that specialises in traditional dishes of Tuscany with rustic style flair. There is of course the three-tiered Main Dining Room of Sapphire that may beckon you in with her impeccable service and décor.

With a menu brimming full of all-American favourites including burgers and fries, and the best milkshakes in the business, the 1950s American style diner Johnny Rockets will be a big hit with the kids. Fancy a little bit of everything? The Windjammers Café has got it all covered, as this casual venue has multiple buffets and serving stations so you can enjoy global cuisine, all with spectacular views.

Dress code

During the day on board Voyager of the Seas, the dress is casual and evenings are either casual, smart casual or formal. Most nights will revolve around elegant casual; however, there will be at least one formal evening during your cruise.  Gentlemen tend to opt for black tie, whilst ladies choose to wear cocktail dresses, gowns or smart separates. If you’re keen to avoid the Formal nights, you’ll be more than welcome in the Windjammer Café where a relaxed dress code is always acceptable.

One thing to remember though… If you’re running from pool to restaurant, you’ll need your cover up to hand as swimwear is not permitted in the restaurants
