P&O Cruises is expanding its family accommodation with the introduction of 50 new five-berth cabins on Arvia, Britannia and Iona, ready in time for the 2026 school holiday season. The additions will give larger families more choice and value as demand for family-friendly sailings continues to grow.
The new accommodation options will include a selection of Conservatory Mini-suites on Arvia and Iona, while Britannia will offer Superior Deluxe Balcony cabins configured for up to five guests. These cabins will feature three or four beds: when fully occupied by five guests, the layout includes a fixed double bed, one pull-down single bed and a double sofa bed. P&O Cruises noted that cabin sizes may vary and recommends checking individual dimensions before booking. Guests will still have access to their balcony.
The move follows P&O Cruises’ recent decision to permit children on select sailings of previously adults-only ships Arcadia and Aurora.
“With more families choosing P&O Cruises, we’re delighted to be expanding our family holiday offerings on Arvia, Britannia and Iona from next summer,” said Carnival UK and P&O Cruises President Paul Ludlow. “Our new five-berth cabins mean that larger families can enjoy being together in one space without compromise.”
The cruise line added that it is “giving families more choice than ever before” and making it easier to holiday together, with the new cabins offering “better value and more unforgettable holiday moments”.
