Extremely disappointed with our 2nd trip on the Arcadia. The internal decor has not changed since our voyage 9 years ago, so in dire need of a full refurbishment. Curtains hanging down, tape holding carpet joins together, storm damage which occurred in Oct 2015 not yet repaired. P & O standards have dropped dramatically in all departments with the exception of the service afforded by the waiters & our cabin staff. Some excursions we booked were cancelled with very little notice & no real explanation. Luckily, we were able to make our own arrangments for these (at less cost than P & O). Days in ports were far too short with not a single evening sail away. Something to do with the Berth Fees. Meridian Restaurant food quality was very disappointing as was the lack of ‘silver service’. All our meals were plated up before being brought out. Hardly the 5* treatment that we have received previously from P & O.
Sad to say, but our next cruise will not be with P & O. They would definately have to up their game before we would choose to sail with them again!
