we went on this ship on the 2nd Feb this year from Southampton, visiting Vigo, Valencia,Malaga, Cadiz, Barcelona, Lisbon.Although we have visited these place before it was a chance to see them again.

The ship was in good condition and our stateroom although an inside was more than adequate for our needs, our cabin steward was superb could not do enough for us we were on B DECK B631 which was near the stern of the ship. We were on freedom dining meaning we could go anytime between 6pm and 9.30pm we tended to go around 7.30 which was a busy time but never a problem getting a table for 4. The beds are so so comfortable. the shuttle buses were great and didn’t,t cost if you were on select fare which we were. The entertainment was good the first week and at beginning of second but some shows had to be cancelled due to the sea conditions. The Karaoke in the pub on board was great with some really good singers. After leaving Lisbon the weather deteriorated and we were in a force 9 gale and the ship was rocking and rolling but the captain kept us informed of what he was doing and what to expect, we speeded through Bay of Biscay but had to divert to Brixham to pick up a pilot then back out to sea as Southampton was shut, we eventually arrive about Midday Sunday 16th around 6 hours late. We cannot praise P and O enough for the way we were looked after and the organisation by all the crew.
