Excellent cruise, dreadful embarkation
By Alan Shelton on 01 April 2019
Cunard Line | Queen Mary 2 Reviews

My cruise was a 27 night Singapore to Singapore trip. The cruise was superb. Queen Mary 2 is a beautiful ship and the staff are wonderful. They just can’t do enough for you. I had an inside cabin on deck 4 which was more than ample for my needs as a solo passenger. It was kept beautifully clean and tidy by my cabin steward. I dined on 1st sitting on the upper level of the...

Dubai to Hong Kong
By John on 28 February 2019
Cunard Line | Queen Mary 2 Reviews

A splendid cruise, only marred by the utter shambles at embarkation. Cunard must share the blame for that with the Dubai authorities. Our first time on Queen Mary 2, we found a ship which sailed really well and had acres of space on board for passengers. The deck layout was a little confusing to begin with, the “half decks” taking a little understanding but over three weeks we had plenty of time to find our...

I like Cunard, we have sailed on all three Queens. We sailed on the QE last summer to the Baltic and by coincidence, this cruise was on the same ship, we chose the route rather than the ship on this occasion. Having said that QE is a lovely ship, very comfortable. My wife and I are in our early 60’s and in my view are still a little young for many aspects of Cunard cruises,...

A HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT
By Jo Magee on 04 February 2019
Cunard Line | Queen Mary 2 Reviews

I had a wonderful cruise with my sister on the Queen Mary 2 in 2010 and convinced my husband to book our special anniversary cruise on the QM2, HUGE mistake. It was so bad that after 4 days of the 14 day cruise we seriously considered getting off! 3 major problem areas: Food, Cleanliness, Attitude FOOD. Unless you were cocooned in Grill areas the food was appalling especially in the King’s Court dining area where...

Atlantic Crossing East to West
By Robert Williams on 30 January 2019
Cunard Line | Queen Victoria Reviews

This was our first Cunard experience, and we were not disappointed. We were on the first sector of the 2019 World Cruise; this would take us from Southampton to Fort Lauderdale, stopping at Bermuda and Port Canaveral. We were under no illusions with six sea days before the first port of call we would need to find plenty to do. Also, the North Atlantic in January could have been very rough (think North Sea trawler!),...

Christmas and New Year 2018
By Marion Baines on 23 January 2019
Cunard Line | Queen Victoria Reviews

We had a wonderful cruise throughout although the bad weather in Madeira stopped us going ashore which was disappointing. I felt really sorry for the people on the island as not many people could go ashore to shop I think there was only one cruise ship in dock. The rest were anchored in the bay. They had spent millions of euros on the truly awesome firework display to celebrate the 600th year of Madeira.

Very dissapointed with food not as good as usual and sometimes came up cold!! Christmas Day was not great, we had upgraded to grill suite and sometimes it felt we were in a old peoples home when going for a coffee in the small Lounge most people were asleep will not be paying the extra money to go up there again, getting off the ship was a shambles quite a lot of people obviously did...

Brilliant all round until 9.30 pm on 4th Jan when I tripped over a small light box plugged inon the floor shining a light up a pillar in the Queens room. Wheelchaired back to my room and spent the last day in pain and movement restricted. I have received report from H&R offficer and am awaiting comment from Cunard

Falling standards

Cunard Line | Queen Elizabeth Reviews

I have cruised many times with Cunard and have Diamond status. The Xmas cruise was a disappointment food wise. The portions have been reduced in size the combinations of food was at time odd and after requesting HOT, HOT, food in the restaurant on the 6pm servings I had to constantly send it back as the plates were cold. Vegetables were only served on request. The waiters were wonderful and embarrassed at the complaints at...

Very disappointing
By Mrs Pauline Boulton on 07 January 2019
Cunard Line | Queen Elizabeth Reviews

We booked our 2018 Christmas cruise on Queen Elizabeth after having a fabulous 2017 Christmas cruise on Queen Victoria. It’s so different considering both ships are Cunard. We had a lot of onboard spending money as we had put £100 down payment before leaving Queen Victoria a year ago, I absolutely loved the shops on Queen Victoria and was looking forward to spending all this money in the shops this Christmas on Queen Elizabeth. Well...

First and last time on Queen Mary 2. / Nightmare.

From New York Terminal to Southampton. Firstly, if you have a disability like I have with wearing an Air-Cast Boot and partly blind with a white/red cane to inform people you have low vision. Well I was struggling with everything not one person on staff cared about helping me. On the Queen Mary 2 in my Cabin I found a ladies fingernail on the floor. Anyway it turns out that the Chef never bothered to...

Canaries Cruise. More sea, less weather
By Desmond Ward on 02 January 2019
Cunard Line | Queen Victoria Reviews

Cunard service and standards were as usual very high. Out of 10 days cruising, five were at sea and only two days of good weather. The excursions were pricey for what they delivered and the drinks on board astronomical. The daily hotel charge was confusing as you got the heavy impression from crew that they still expected a tip. After all we had paid for the cruise with staff and service, backroom staff and all.

Preloved Christmas break
By James Tivey on 02 January 2019
Cunard Line | Queen Victoria Reviews

Have just had a 10 day Canaries cruise just before Christmas. The ship was decorated for Christmas and all the details of the cruise were as expected top notch. All the staff were professional in their roles and customer service was second to none. Our ports of call were as expected and we enjoyed seeing the sites. Great value for money and 5-star treatment throughout.

Pre Christmas Cruise to the Canaries

Cunard Line | Queen Victoria Reviews

We have been on Queen Victoria once before and we were not disappointed with our second cruise. Our cabin was clean, well furnished, but the shower room lacked storage space and the bath towels were rather small. Plenty of hanging space in the wardrobes and the beds were extremely comfy. The whole ship had been tastefully decorated with seasonal garlands and trees etc and looked magnificent. Food was varied and mostly excellent as was the...

Booked a club balcony dined in Club Restaurant the food was cold more often than not as was the water in a teapot for breakfast the excuse given was that the Club Restaurant was some distance from Galley. The quality of food was very poor indeed the same veg every night. The choice was very bland typical of a 2/3 star hotel the cruise was the first week of December and we were given a...

Not as good as previous Cunard cruises
By Mrs P A Stirk on 02 January 2019
Cunard Line | Queen Elizabeth Reviews

There was a flood on deck 8 starboard and we heard from one person that he had been without water. We didn’t have a flood but the balcony and furniture was covered in an oily substance and the roof was very discoloured. It splashed on the glass door/ window so we thought it was raining. Two officers who came to look left footprints in it and said the steward would clean it up which he...

Nice cruise but……..
By Philip Theaker on 21 December 2018
Cunard Line | Queen Victoria Reviews

We enjoyed our cruise to the Caribbean in Nov/Dec. Everything about the ship was good except for the onboard prices especially drinks. These are very expensive & then they add 15% service charge which is in addition to the daily service charge of US$11.50. (Cancelled that on day 2 like most of the passengers!) Why a ship that prides itself on being British, prices everything in US$ amazes me. They do however let you bring...
