Half world cruiseByon 24 April 2019P&O Cruises | Arcadia Reviews
Fantastic. The whole experience more than lived up to expectations. The ship was beautiful, the staff amazing as was the food. The destinations were exciting and enjoyable. The overall experience was wonderful.
Smallest inside cabin everByon 23 April 2019P&O Cruises | Oceana Reviews
The inside cabin was so small, one side of the bed didn’t even have a bedside table. Anytime dining, only good before 6.45pm then you’d end up with a pager & you might get a table for 9pm & we were willing to share. So missed the show on two nights. Overall enjoyed the cruise but definitely our least favourite ship.
Arabian Gulf and Suez TransitByon 23 April 2019P&O Cruises | Oceana Reviews
For us this was an opportunity to tick the Middle East box and move on. We enjoyed the itinerary, had some interesting little adventures, and had great weather. The disappointment for me was the ship. Our cabin steward was terrific, did everything we asked but you can’t turn a worn out cabin and rusty balcony into a palace. The wrap around promenade deck was immaterial because on far too many occasions a section was closed...
Think TwiceByon 23 April 2019P&O Cruises | Ventura Reviews
April 5th – 12th. Broadly a disappointment (less the excellent waiter service in the restaurants and the quality of the food in the restaurants (which is nicely served and portioned I.e not overwhelming). A key consideration to any Cruise and Ship is how will you feel if you stay ‘cooped’ up in the ‘hotel’ for 48 hours or so? Failing to get ashore at Oporto and then St. Peter Port was a bitter disappointment (despite...
Canary Isles March 2019Byon 16 April 2019P&O Cruises | Azura Reviews
This cruise was just right for me and I loved everything about it. As a solo traveller, there was plenty of opportunity to meet other travellers so there was never any fear of feeling alone. I spent a lot of time with Jason and Sarah the dance Instructors who I found to be very professional, enthusiastic and friendly and loved the opportunity they provided for me to brush up on my Ballroom dancing. I found...
Caribbean and AzoresByon 16 April 2019P&O Cruises | Britannia Reviews
Our first time on The Britannia and it was not without problems. The stairs/lifts are something to behold. We had been warned about these from our booking agent but in reality, it was far more of a problem than we would have imagined. There are no stairs in the centre of the ship and when trying to go to some decks the lifts do not stop there. For example we had our meals in the...
Sorry to see you goByon 15 April 2019P&O Cruises | Oriana Reviews
The Oriana has been a firm favourite for both new and especially long travelled passengers (guests). Still not used to the term ‘guest’. It is with great sadness that after 24 years of loyal service she is leaving P & O. I sincerely hope she is as appreciated by her new owners and guests as much as past and present passengers. The friendliness and efficiency of the whole staff (crew) have been excellent every time...
Fun in the sunByon 15 April 2019P&O Cruises | Oriana Reviews
Staff were all helpful and cheerful. The cabin was clean and comfortable. Entertainment was disappointing as it consisted of shows we had seen many times and acts with an unaltered format. Shame Oriana is going. So many people love it.

Excellant cruise on Oriana in the Canaries. Perfect weather. Will be sorry to see her go.
Are p&o chefs on a budget?Byon 15 April 2019P&O Cruises | Ventura Reviews
P&O’s new soon to be introduced tips policy seems to be taking effect, not a smile or interaction amongst dining room staff, food of really poor quality, ship and cabin spotless as per P&O high standards, hope this is only on Ventura or will be losing a customer!
Let down by early start to refitByon 15 April 2019P&O Cruises | Aurora Reviews
The cruise itself was as good a standard as we had previously experienced, however P&O’s decision to start working on the refit whist passengers were still on board was unacceptable. Early morning disturbance, lifts taken out of service, items being removed from cabins and public areas being stripped was the start, then whilst passengers were waiting to be called to disembark having furniture removed from around us. To cap it all builders were waiting by...
Madeira & Canary Island CruiseByon 15 April 2019P&O Cruises | Azura Reviews
Food good, not excellent, crew friendly, waiters a little slow but obliging. Entertainment good but could have been better. TV satellite not working for half the cruise should have been fixed earlier. Inside films are shown on a screen in an entertainment bar and not a cinema or theatre so seating very poor (weather cold and inside entertainment essential). Balcony cabin on Deck 10 had extra deep outside balcony, overlooked from deck 11 but no...
Still good but signs that a makeover is needed are everywhereByon 15 April 2019P&O Cruises | Azura Reviews
I have enjoyed cruising aboard Azura previously and did also enjoy this cruise. The food is good and varied, the staff that I met were, without exception, outstanding, but the ship herself is in need of a makeover, the signs are everywhere, and you don’t have to look hard. Balcony furniture is stained and worn, some soft furnishings in the lounges are in need of deep cleaning, and the wire wrapped chairs in the pool...
Med cruiseByon 15 April 2019P&O Cruises | Ventura Reviews
Poor meat products in restaurants. Overall food and presentation not terrific. My wife’s nationality classed as Yemeni where’s that from ? . Service in restaurants was good, and ship in good shape. Shows average quality. P&O drinks package only suitable for heavy drinkers both husband and wife as you are obliged both to subscribe. P&O slipping behind competitors I’m afraid after many years of good cruises
Canary IslandsByon 15 April 2019P&O Cruises | Azura Reviews
Azura – there was less entertainment on the ship on Sea days. Sarah and Jason – dancing instructors were excellent.
TulipsByon 15 April 2019P&O Cruises | Britannia Reviews
Wanted to see the Bulb Fields and Keukenhof, which we did under our own steam. Pity P&O did not put on their own excursions to Keukenhof, a world class venue. Embarkation was excellent, seems to get slicker each time. Some new dishes on MDR menus but basically still the same over last few years, still lots of choice but some more new dishes needed on the menu cycles. Contrary to all the negative reviews on...
Caribbean and a back to back.Byon 08 April 2019P&O Cruises | Britannia Reviews
Four weeks on Britannia and our first TA. A fantastic time, cruising the Islands. Our cabin balcony deluxe midships B deck, very comfortable and spacious. Complimentary Champagne and Belgium chocolates. Our lovely cabin steward Janeth kept our cabin immaculate and looked after us very well. Food in the Horizon and Pennisular Restaurants to be honest was mixed, always an extensive choice, Epicurian, Limelight, and Glass restaurants very good, as was service and attention to detail....

Everything about the cruise was wonderful and my adapted cabin was excellent. Thank you
AmsterdamByon 08 April 2019P&O Cruises | Azura Reviews
Although overall we enjoyed this cruise with friends it was disappointing because the ship never arrived in Amsterdam. Instead we docked in Ijmuiden which is an industrial port dominated by a steelworks and a fuel refinery. It has little to commend it as a destination. A fleet of coaches for transport to and from Amsterdam was provided but was inadequate to cope with the demands of nearly 3000 guests and there were long delays to...
Dubai & Arabian GulfByon 02 April 2019P&O Cruises | Oceana Reviews
The cruise was excellent with good ports and shore excursions. The embarkation and disembarkation arrangements were first class and worked very smoothly. However the cruise was let down by Oceana which must be the very worst ship in the fleet , the cabins were minute and the balconies claustrophobic. A lack of bars and poor service didn’t help either. Would be a memorable cruise with a better ship.
