Title: First on Azura Summary: The shows in theatre were good and the ships orchestra excellent. Other music generally too loud for me. for example a Big Band night with the orchestra was spoilt wth too much bass guitar. I would have thought that the sound man on the mixer desk could have done better with this. I suppose I am biased not being into loud guitar groups and their mod songs. The captain gave a good speech and his...

Title: Azura Summary: Azura is the 3rd Ship from P&O that we have been on. It is looking a bit tired with things dropping off, leaks among other things. We were pleased to see the Captain making time to talk to everyone he could, he spent about 20 mins with us chatting. Our stewardess Cathy was brilliant the room was excellent. We found certain areas with a lack of service for drinks. ie not enough staff walking around....

Title: just not 5 star Summary: just little things like having to ask more then once for things at dinner some staff just not five star as before and problems that should not have been at the end of the cruise having to phone the reception four times for luggage labels for an extra case we had paid for with tui .and was told to back to the room between 8/12 on the last night to see if it was there...

Title: ROUGH PASSAGE Summary: Ship must be ready for either replacement or overhaul. Not the ship to be on in rough conditions. Last 3 days of our Canaries cruise more uncomfortable than the Force 10 we experienced in the North Atlantic. However, food good and staff really helpful.

Title: First time cruise Summary: This was our first time and cruising and we found the experience fantastic. The crew were polite and professional in all areas, entertainment was really good , food was of a high quality. Performance of the ship was very smooth even in a F9 wind with 8 metre high waves. Some people where complaining about the lifts but it didn’t bother me if they were slow could always use the stairs. Overall can’t wait for the...

Title: Disappointed Summary: The ship looks and feels tired needs a refit. In the restaurant we were served either the wrong main meal/Desert or on 2 occasions none at all. The waiters need re training so often leaning across you or spilling wine etc. Some of the lifts were out of action all of the cruise and with so many disabled people you had to wait ages. Always had to have a 30min wait for freedom dining as...

Title: Oceana Cruise to Canaries & Spain Summary: Started with speedy embarcation – time from home to buffet lunch just over an hour. Cases already outside our cabin when we got there. Much improved from our previous P & O cruises several years ago. Ship lovely and with a proper but not too blingy atrium. Food very good in Ligurian but no wow factor in the Buffet. Deserts very poor and uninteresting. Cleanliness excellent and cannot fault staff. Would be pleased to travel...

Title: Fantastic ship and cruise Summary: This was my first time cruising and was wondering what to expect. I was not disappointed, the food was fantastic, the service outstanding and there was plenty to do if you were looking for entertainment. It was a hotel on the sea and after 5 sea days relaxing and enjoying the sun we arrived in the Caribbean to visit a number of islands and to get a flavour of each. The ship had everything you...

Title: First on P&O Summary: First impression on boarding the Ventura was, bright, clean and well presented. The reception (passenger services) were excellent a real fountain of knowledge, that is where staffing changed, waiters were miserable, never a smile and sometimes quite rude., the exception being the Head Waiter in Bay Tree who was very accommodating. Food was average in comparison to other cruise lines. Shore excursion staff were not interested in disabled passengers and were not pleased when told...

Title: Greek Isles On Oceana Summary: We recently returned from a week on Oceana. We visited 5 different ports on our 7 night cruise. We stayed in a balcony cabin on C deck which was fairly midships. The cabin itself was very clean & our cabin steward couldn’t do enough for us. Food on board was fantastic as it is on all P&O ships. We did dine in the Beach house one evening which was incredible. Can not recommend this highly...

Title: Falling standards Summary: Sailed to the Caribbean. Captain was sooo funny and friendly. Every meal we had was excellent. Staff not as friendly as they used to be. Best service was in Oriental restaurant. I think p and o are letting standards drop re dress code especially in self service restaurants. Half promenade deck was available to smokers.

Title: Music at sea cruise Summary: We have just returned from this cruise. The music side was excellent, with a huge variety of events, all very enjoyable. However we found the food disappointing on this occasion, lacking imagination and of mediocre quality (too many root vegetables as one example). Too many cuts also eg. no birthday balloons, garlands, flags etc. The fun has been taken out of cruising, and we missed this.

Title: Nice ship, nice holiday, nice overall experience Summary: Nice ship, had a lovely time – a little tired but apparently is going in for a refit soon. We did notice in the restaurant that the staff were not as friendly as they had been on previous cruises, in fact 2 waiters were extremely rude to us on two separate occasions! However this did not spoil our enjoyment. Our steward was amazing – Marx on A deck – fabulous – nothing too much trouble...

Title: Short 2 night cruise Summary: This was the first cruise after Britannia had been in dock for a refit which meant embarkation was very quick, although we have always found P&O efficient during embarkation. We were onboard within 30 minutes. The changes to the atrium layout are a good improvement making it brighter and easier to get around.

Title: Malta 17 days Summary: Excellent ports of call although sadly we had to miss a port due to staying longer in Venice. We visited on a Sunday and the city was crammed making it almost impossible to walk around comfortably. The ship itself is getting old and should be replaced. The lifts were slow and there seemed to be a lot of maintenance work being carried out on them. The communal areas in particular the theatre and atrium were...

Title: Chav tastic Summary: Food in dining room at night was very bland. I paid for a day cabin on last day but 3 times the key card was faulty had to que 3 times at 20 minutes at a time. Entertainment was rubbish but there was a guitar player and singer in the atrium that was amazing. Rescheduled Virgin flight was a 40 year old 747 that was most uncomfortable and we landed at the wrong terminal meaning...

Title: Enjoyable Cruise Summary: Our fourth cruise with P & O, this time on the Ventura to Spain and Italy for 14 nights in October 2019. Balcony cabin very comfortable, cabin steward friendly and polite at all times and cabin clean and nothing forgotten. We had to ask for flannels but understand this a new policy that they are only given on request. Ship very clean and public area kept area generally in good condition. Dinning was good but...
