We haven’t been with Regent for a couple of years – they are as excellent as ever…. Nothing negative at all….

The whole experience was delightful. Everything was efficient and staff were helpful and friendly. The suites are spacious and very well designed as was the entire ship. Every restaurant served delicious, well-presented food. I liked the healthy options. The inclusive nature of Regent cruises means you don’t really spend any money, except on shore. Even the laundry facility was free. Excursions were well-organised and catered for a variety of interests. The usual grumble about people...

Very good, but….

Regent Seven Seas Cruises | Seven Seas Voyager Reviews

Overall, we had an excellent time, but did not realise that it was still the wet season in Indonesia (why schedule the cruise then?). Did not like Voyager as much as Mariner. Thought the service and food quality had dropped, admittedly from a very high standard.

Regent hype this ship as the best ever. We had one of the cheapest cabins, and it was small. Veranda was quite big though and it had a normal height table so we used that for breakfast when we went on early trips. The decor was dark in the cabin, generally the decor was dark, why? In the theatre you had to be careful not to fall down the steps as the carpet was darker...

Unexpectedly balmy November weather made a perfect holiday
By Anne Marczak on 04 December 2017
Regent Seven Seas Cruises | Seven Seas Explorer Reviews

Having sailed with Seven Seas before, we knew the standard of the ship would be exemplary and it was every bit as good as we hoped. The staff were outstanding, the food excellent, the itinerary was wonderful, but the weather was extraordinarily mild and calm and sunny for November on the Mediterranean! We often cruise the area at this time and have never had such beautiful weather – more like September in those waters. We...

Not up to expected standards of a 6 star cruise line
By Enid Matthews on 19 September 2017
Regent Seven Seas Cruises | Seven Seas Voyager Reviews

Standards on Regent have gone down. Several times food was presented at the dining table cold. Breakfast room service never came as it was ordered. Plus other things that weren’t right. Won’t be sailing with Regent again.

Once we had accustomed our selves to the size of the Penthouse Suite, being much smaller than other ship Penthouse Suites, especially the Balcony and the bathroom, that we had become used to, all else was fine, the Butler and everyone was very pleasant and only too willing to complete any request we asked of them. The food was fine but no more than other ships we have sailed on. The ship itself was very clean,...

Another wonderful cruise
By David bowers on 08 June 2017
Regent Seven Seas Cruises | Seven Seas Voyager Reviews

My wife and I have been cruising since 1968 and have been on many cruise lines, but since finding Regent in 2008 we have been so totally satisfied that we would not now even consider a different cruise company. However having said that, we are taking our extended family including two teenage grandchildren on the Royal Princess in a few weeks. We did a price comparison between this ship and the Voyager and although the initial...

First cruise with this company and we had a wonderful time. The crew were very attentive and friendly, the food and drink first class and the on shore excursions well organised with great guides. We are now looking at other destinations!

Fantastic cruise ship, but
By Nicholas French on 11 October 2016
Regent Seven Seas Cruises | Seven Seas Explorer Reviews

This was our first cruise with Regent and we were impressed with the ship, the staff, the cabin and the food. It was clearly the best cruise line we have been on but at ?œ1,000 per day for a Concierge Suite it should be. The pre cruise overnight stop in Venice was not particularly well organised, partly due to us not being kept informed by the Italian staff and the hotel room was clearly the...

The most luxurious cruise ship. Ever built
By David bowers on 11 October 2016
Regent Seven Seas Cruises | Seven Seas Explorer Reviews

This ship lives up to its reputation. It entered service earlier this year . The only fault we could find was in the signage for it’s main restaurant Compass Rose which was described as being in the aft part of the ship but omitted to say that access could only be gained from the forward lifts and stairways. We really could not find any other fault with this ship. The service was flawless in every...

Regent are the best

Regent Seven Seas Cruises | Seven Seas Navigator Reviews

If you want a great value for money cruise – even if the up front cost is high Regent is the best. Best of all there are only 490 passengers on the Navigator, even though the ship is about 30,000 tons. The service is impeccable, tipping is included, all the trips are included and drinks are included. We enjoyed a bottle of champagne every night on the balcony, what more do you want on a...

Regent Seven Seas Cruises | Seven Seas Voyager Reviews

This was our 3rd cruise with Regent and we continued to be delighted with the quality and service whilst onboard. The hotels supplied were excellent and the ANA hotel in Tokyo was exceptional. Unfortunately the land tours were a disappointment due in part to the weather but also because of a pre-occupation with procedures at the expense of content and visiting stores with pressure selling. Due to the high population density there was little chance...

Great cruise apart from very poor internet after paying 300 dollars for 24/7 coverage. Enjoyed all ports of call except the last day was horrendous, Nassau, where 4 very large ships were already docked, at least 12,000 people already there ! Would have been better to have had another day at sea, spoilt our last day

Regent Seven Seas Cruises | Seven Seas Mariner Reviews

This was the first time we travelled with Regent. Before we went it seemed expensive, but on return it was reasonable value for money. There were many included trips to choose from, equally good, if not better than trips we paid for on other lines. The ship was well maintained, and the staff all friendly and helpful without being too obtrusive. The food was excellent, although we felt the portions all too large which made...

Regent Seven Seas Cruises | Seven Seas Mariner Reviews

We thoroughly enjoyed our cruise on board the Seven Seas Mariner. A little disappointed that our luggage was not delivered to our cabin for some considerable time after we had joined the ship but delighted to find a walk in wardrobe to put the clothes in when it did finally arrive. Everywhere was spotlessly clean and our Concierge cabin was quite spacious if a little dated. Plenty of fluffy white towels and good toiletries regularly...

Mariner review on Mediterranean Cruise
By Roger Houghton on 11 June 2015
Regent Seven Seas Cruises | Seven Seas Mariner Reviews

Up to its usual standatd, this cruise was enhanced a million times by Regent offering us an UPGRADE to HORIZON SUITE for a measly 200 pounds extra each!! This suite would have cost upwards of 7000 pounds each!! The Butler was very nice and attended to our every need – Strongbow replenished daily, Cointreau glass cleaned etc. !! Can’t fault this cruise line – EVERYTHING INCLUDED, and I mean EVERYTHING! If you want six star...

This was our second cruise on Mariner and if anything it was better than the first. It is hard to think of anything that could be improved. The service, helpfulness of staff and food are excellent. Entertainment was first class, as good as might be seen in London. Excursions are very good and well organised. Not cheap but overall value for money. Would definately go again.

Cruise of Good Fortune

Regent Seven Seas Cruises | Seven Seas Navigator Reviews

We’ve recently returned from a fascinating cruise to Alaska. A pity the cruise didn’t start in the UK because we’re not at all fond of flying. We first flew to San Francisco, and were pleased that our package with Regent Seven Seas included an upgrade to Premium Economy on the long 11 hour flight. Two nights in SF gave us the opportunity to visit Alcatraz. Because it’s hugely popular, we would recommend that any readers...

The ship was gorgeous and the food brilliant. The service was also excellent. Some of the excursions weren’t brilliant – too much sitting in coaches and going a long way to see not much. Would have been better to find something nearer to the ship and include some walking. We did not enjoy most of the entertainment onboard. The lectures were very good, but the evening shows were not our cup of tea. We would...
