Not quite what we expected
By Lesley Brine on 14 November 2018
Royal Caribbean International | Navigator of the Seas Reviews

Returned on November 5 from cruise on this ship – unfortunately the boat had a problem so went to less ports as had to stay in Vigo for repairs but feel its only fair to say that the company compensated us well for this and we were still fed, entertained and well looked after by the staff during our holiday. Thank you Royal Caribbean

Terrible
By Wendy Broomhall on 13 November 2018
Royal Caribbean International | Navigator of the Seas Reviews

The most dreadful cruise I have ever been on stabilizer broke in the middle of the Bay of Biscay ship took on water listing badly crew waste deep in water in their life jackets managed to get into Vigo safely. Captain had the audacity to say a minor problem! Needless to say, has put me off cruising for life.

Disappointed Cruise
By B.luffman on 12 November 2018
Royal Caribbean International | Independence of the Seas Reviews

Found that the ship was fine and cabin ok but the pull out sofa was to short and had to be removed from cabin and foldaway beds placed. Received bill for items not purchased in dinning and was taken off the bill but was returned on later bill reception person rude and not what was expected of the company. I hate to think what would happen if a real emergency happened at sea when it...

Not a style of cruising that appeals
By Jonathan Bleasdale on 05 November 2018
Royal Caribbean International | Navigator of the Seas Reviews

Most of my previous cruises have been with P&O so decided to try RC for a change. First the positives. Windjammers buffet was a very pleasant surprise. Great range of food and excellent quality. The way it is designed with plentiful seating prevented the bun fights I had been used to and very easy to get seated. Great idea to have free ice cream dispensers and was surprisingly good. Another plus is having coffee and...

Disappointed
By Susan Chambers on 29 October 2018
Royal Caribbean International | Independence of the Seas Reviews

After sailing with the Independence of the Sea twice before and with several other cruise companies, we sailed with her again knowing the ship had recently had upgrades. From being a beautiful and roomy ship it is now to say the least mediocre and the prommanade was very crowded so much that it wad difficult to find comfortable seats together with our friends. Two of the main shows were cancelled what happened to” the show...

Great cruise but watch the money
By Barry Storr on 15 October 2018
Royal Caribbean International | Symphony of the Seas Reviews

We had a great cruise on the Med from the 30th Sept. In general, magnificent ship and plenty to occupy any age. A couple of points, we found no quiet lounge on the new ship just to read without music and watch the world go by !! Check your account on the TV each day, we found 6 errors of being charged for items we did not order on wine. In one case they charged...

Cruise review
By Carol Edgington on 15 October 2018
Royal Caribbean International | Independence of the Seas Reviews

We had a lovely cruise but the downside was that our friend David Holt was ill and was confined to his cabin which meant that the 4 of us were prevented from going onshore etc together. Mrs Holt did join us for some of the time but obviously, the idea was that the 4 of us spent most of the cruise doing things together. However, Colin and I together with the Holts can only sing...

Med Cruise
By Paul Mackie on 15 October 2018
Royal Caribbean International | Independence of the Seas Reviews

Our cruise started on 22nd Sept for 14 nights, a time when we thought most of the schools would be back, however, there were children still running about whose parents were obviously happy to see the back of them for a while. (I’m not surprised) On the first couple of days we tried the Windjammer restaurant where there is no dress code, however, there are still some chavs who insist on going to the restaurants...

Italian Meditterranean 14 nights departure 16th Sept 2018
By Margaret Cooper and Marjorie Grice on 08 October 2018
Royal Caribbean International | Navigator of the Seas Reviews

5 star in all aspects. Excellent organisation from entering the departure hall at Southampton where we were swiftly and smoothly booked in and all paperwork taken care of and welcoming staff on board to help. 1st class cabin accommodation and cared for by friendly helpful steward. The food in all the eating areas was superb but the Sapphire Dining room was really special in all respects not only the food but the service also 10...

Amazing
By Dianne on 02 October 2018
Royal Caribbean International | Independence of the Seas Reviews

Just back from our first cruise ever, celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary, couldn’t have picked a nicer ship than Indy, ALL staff are very polite, helpful, courteous, and nothing was too much trouble for them to make our holiday just perfect from start to finish, they all work so extremely hard, we went on Canaries adventure and enjoyed every port we went to, cannot recommend this ship enough, we were very spoilt and cannot wait...

Yet another gret cruise on Indy
By John Goldby on 01 October 2018
Royal Caribbean International | Independence of the Seas Reviews

The Indy just gets better and better, great service, good food and friendly staff and passengers.  The Crown and Anchor society and benefits are the best of all the cruise ships, personal service and great perks. Already got two cruises on the Independence booked for next year.

The cruise was excellent in every way. The ship was first class and the crew were even better. Enjoyed every second of the cruise. Five star service and more. Cannot wait to go again next August with RCI on Explorer of the Seas. Thank you RCI and Bolsover Cruise Club

Navigator and the Med
By John Gardner on 25 September 2018
Royal Caribbean International | Navigator of the Seas Reviews

Navigator is showing its age, but the entertainment was excellent with TV personalities including comedians and singers. The food in both the dining room and self service “Windjammer “ restaurant was very good and the gluten free provision was excellent. The ports of call in the Med were not the usual ones. No Rome or Florence but Malaga, Villefranche, Sardinia and Corsica. Beware of the cost of drinks with a service charge added for each...

Family holiday
By Fiona on 24 September 2018
Royal Caribbean International | Symphony of the Seas Reviews

Fabulous ship, great holiday. The ship is fantastic, staff great. Trips are expensive if you are a family. Little finesse is lacking as my husband got his after-dinner coffee in a mug !!! Only requires a few small tweaks to make it out of this world. Also make sure you pre-book your evening shows before you get on the ship as you may be disappointed otherwise. Great holiday will book it again soon. 😃

Mostly good, only a few small niggles.
By Andy Dimond on 24 September 2018
Royal Caribbean International | Symphony of the Seas Reviews

We originally booked to fly from Birmingham, but Bolsover contacted us to let us know Monarch had gone bust but we could still fly from Birmingham via Amsterdam to Barcelona if we wanted, opted to fly direct from Heathrow. We even had aisle seats as requested – thank you Bolsover. From plane to boarding was so easy and quick as was disembarkation at the end. This is the first cruise we have ever booked for...

Royal Caribbean International | Rhapsody of the Seas Reviews

Rhapsody in need of some TLC, destinations with spectacular sail ins and sail aways fabulous. Weather superb. The ship’s crew are the best. No praise can be too high. The downer on our cruise was My time dining which was marred by long queues of people waiting for a table simply because the reservation of times for tables is allowed and this resulted in unoccupied tables for far too long and a lot of frustration....

Norwegian Fjords
By Michael Topliss on 24 September 2018
Royal Caribbean International | Independence of the Seas Reviews

Our third cruise on this ship, the first since its re-fit, we stayed in one of the new staterooms on deck 12 and it was wonderful, the panoramic window was a great asset for a cruise to the fjords. The staff, food and entertainment were as always excellent.

Good ship but dated decor
By Chris Barr on 19 September 2018
Royal Caribbean International | Jewel of the Seas Reviews

Very dated decor, cabins were tired with stains on the sofa, entertainment was tired, excursions tired and expensive. Communication by black and white photocopies. No talks. Limited daytime activities. Captain and officers low profile apart from the usual 10-minute speech by Captain. Food was good, table and cabin staff excellent. Drinks package was good and essential. All in all disappointed in RC, expected more, not as good as P&O or Celebrity.

Enjoyable cruise to western Mediterranean
By Ann Roberts on 17 September 2018
Royal Caribbean International | Jewel of the Seas Reviews

Our last cruise was on Celebrity Infinity and in a lot of ways, Royal Caribbean Jewel of the Seas was superior. The cabin was definitely cleaner and more comfortable. The staff generally were better. The ship was nice but the decor was a bit flashy and the entertainment was a bit loud and ‘in your face’. Due to the size of the ship, you were somewhat subjected to whatever entertainment was on in the main...
