This was our first and last cruise. We had paid tips in advance but notwithstanding this every drink we purchased still carted an 18% service charge and tax- therefore the price shown on the menu was false! I hated the continuous sell, sell, sell! The entertainment was best described as Burkina/Hi de Hi! Truly awful waste of time and money!

Beautiful ship, lovely staff.

Royal Caribbean International | Independence of the Seas Reviews

Ship is as beautiful as ever. Staff in all areas are courteous and friendly. The Windjammer is always “jammed” full so my least liked area due to a few ignorant people who pushed in at the front of the queues. We mostly ate in the restaurant and the food was great. Loved the Viking Lounge. In all a lovely holiday.

I was rather disappointed with this trip. The ship whilst modern, large and clean had totally inadequate facilities for the number of passengers. As someone on a restricted medical diet (gluten free) the choice of food in Windjammer and the coffee shop was very poor. On asking what was available it became apparent that there were gluten free options but these were always in the kitchens and had to be collected. This resulted in me...

My wife and I enjoyed the cruise though the ports are not brilliant except perhaps Bilbau. However we are disappointed to note: 1) Smoking is allowed inside Casino in a limited area. Yet it is not uncomfortable to walk through the casino let alone whether we cal play games. Also it is not advisable due to fire risk. 2) During Formal days guests were allowed to wear trousers and short sleeves. It would have been...

Waiters in all restaurants were fantastic. Our room attendant was also fantastic – he always seemed to be smiling, so always brightened our day. Our waiter (6pm formal seating) kept telling us there was a survey to fill in, but I can’t find it anywhere? We wanted to fill it in and give him 10/10! Excellent food as well Kids club not very good. My children were 6 and 11. 11 year old went twice...

Excellent Navigator Cruise

Royal Caribbean International | Navigator of the Seas Reviews

We’ve just returned from a seven night cruise to Northern Spain on N.o.t.Seas made possible for us due to an unbelievably good special offer from Bolsover (Many thanks, Bolsover, keep ’em coming ! ). It was our first RCI cruise ( we’ve only ever cruised with P&O ) and we were bowled over by it. A wonderful experience for us all (Two adults, two children sharing a four berth cabin on deck 6) from start...

First time on Royal Caribbean. Would we cruise with them again, YES! This was our 8th cruise and was really pretty good. Nice ship, smooth, lovely balcony room, no noise. Fantastic value for money. Though smaller than some RCI ships, at 2400 passengers, this was about right for us. Very efficient embarkation and dis-embarkation in Rome, with no problems. Fantastic mix of passengers on board & made some good friends. Shore itinerary was about right...

We found the ship was very nice but the entertainment was not as good as we expected also my grandaughter found a live grub in her lettuce which put us of eating salads which we love,so I dont think we will be going on the Navigator of the seas again. We enjoyed the places we visited but found it a bit expensive paying for the Shuttle Buses

Not enough staff , especially on the decks during the day. Some members of staff not very helpful , when cabin not cleaned one day a complaint was a waste of time, the room was left until the steward attended that evening. Exorbitant prices for drink on board ship, never been into a restuerant on an evening with the majority of people drinking wine. Alcohol purchased at port visits taken from you when going back...

Royal Caribbean International | Navigator of the Seas Reviews

Overall the 1st cruise for us was fantastic.. Good points were ….. The ship was immaculate…. The service was impeccable…. The food was excellent. Cabin superb. The staff on board were brilliant. The holiday got off to a difficult start with toilet not working 4 days out of the 1st 6 days at sea….we wanted to move rooms but they said it was not possible. They offered us a bottle of wine as compensation which...

Royal Caribbean International | Navigator of the Seas Reviews

We ( two 69 year olds ) did a 13 night cruise from Southampton in Sept 2016 The ship is very big with lots to explore. We had a balcony stateroom 8602 on deck 8. The stateroom was very spacious, lots of storage and we enjoyed sitting on the balcony. The dining was excellent both in the dining room and self service restaurant. The staff were excellent, especially Maureen our state room attendant, also Julio...

Really enjoyed the friendly nature on board this ship which had it’s positive effect on the passengers. We loved the crew and their attention to detail. The layout of the ship was easy to negotiate and the deck-plans were well situated along with the interactive boards. Other pluses for us:- sliding doors onto the decks; towel station on the pool deck which prevented the lazy passengers from leaving their towels lying around ( a fine...

Royal Caribbean International | Anthem of the Seas Reviews

This holiday, although it cost a lot of money was NOT to our taste at all.The ship was too big, possibly our fault we should have ascertained this before we booked, but not much choice.Too many people, the facilities were geared for teenagers & younger people. The choices of dining times were not good, we asked for a large table & ended up with two elderly ladies, who were lovely, but we do like to meet people...

Spectacular ship. Has to be seen to be believed. A few disappointments though. We booked a central park balcony cabin which we expected to be a lovely quiet spot overlooking the beautiful central park. It was beautiful but we couldn’t sit on the balcony due to music blaring out constantly from the pool deck above. As we went in September it was very hot but there is hardly any shade on the whole ship. Lots...

Royal Caribbean International | Rhapsody of the Seas Reviews

A very enjoyable cruise, good weather and smooth seas on the whole. Our balcony junior suite was very spacious and well laid out. We had a water leak which wet our carpet and we had to tolerate a large blow dryer for a couple of days. We complained about this and an engineer found the problem and eventually we had a dry carpet and a sweeter smelling cabin. Then our sink tap wouldn’t turn off!...

Royal Caribbean International | Independence of the Seas Reviews

Hi we have just returned from a 13 day med cruise from Southampton .We found the food to be very good with very hard working staff. The only thing that we were disappointed with was the 18% on top of drinks prices and then a further 10% when we were in Spanish waters a total of 28% ,a can of John smiths was 6.50 dollars but with both taxes added was 8.87 dollars that’s nearly 6...

Royal Caribbean International | Navigator of the Seas Reviews

Great service on board the ship as usual. The views in Norway are breathtaking and not to be missed. Which is just as well as there really isn’t anything else to do in any of the ports we went to…mainly due to the weather and the high cost of everything. (Norway is very expensive)!!! The excursions through the ship are also expensive and we met people who had booked the same excursions independently for half...

I was a bit dubious about Booking Vision as she is smaller and older than other ships that we have been on. We had a great time though with a lovely friendly feel. The food was better quality than previous RC cruises (not to say that it was bad before). Schooners had the excellent pianist throwing in loads of jokes between songs which we found very entertaining. The shows were lacking a bit but after...

Royal Caribbean International | Harmony of the Seas Reviews

The size of the ship is awesome when compared with others we had sailed on (14 to be precise). This of course means guest numbers which are also mind blowing. On our first morning we went to the Windjammer restaurant for breakfast only to be informed that it was very full and advised to go to alternative restaurants for breakfast if we wished to avoid a long wait for a table. Similar crowd issues fir...
