Title: Birthday memories on Jewel of the Seas Summary: Wanted to spend the kids inheritance (SKI) but enjoy it with them so booked a birthday treat for 10 of us. What memories we made and 7 of them had never cruised before, but are now looking for their next trip. Two of the girls cried when they had to leave the ship and the friends they had made. The staff made it special by completing our requests with a lot of humour and attention....

Title: Feedback of Freedom of the Seas Summary: We thoroughly enjoyed our cruise. We have been on a couple of other ships,  Allure of the Seas being one I think, with Central Park. I would love to go back on that ship but it just wasn’t available in the week that we needed to go. It obviously is a bigger ship that does provide more areas, such as the aerial water shows, and I love the Central Park area with the conservatory type...

Title: Bahamas with Oasis of the Seas Summary: What a beautiful ship the Oasis of the Seas is – enormous but beautiful. We (family of 4 with 2 x 16 year olds) sailed from Port Canaveral having had a week in the parks in Orlando. Mention here for Alamo car hire – drop off and pick up at the port are brilliant and just 5/10 minutes on their shuttle to the ship. Captain Rob kept welcoming us to our “home away from home”...

Title: An enjoyable cruise on Brilliance of the Seas Summary: Enjoyed our aft balcony cabin experience. Staff all very friendly and helpful. Disappointed not to have a breakfast area in MDR for Diamond and above. Now is only for Suite guests and Pinnacle. Also, no ‘Welcome back’ party only the top tier event. Think Royal Caribbean cruises are becoming more casual and only 2 formal nights on this 12 night cruise where we have always had 3 previously. Apart from 1 smart/casual night the rest...

Title: Independence of the Seas Gran Canaria and Madeira Cruise June 2017 Summary: Are only previous cruise was on The Anthem of the Seas a new ship at the time so, the Indy had a lot to live up too, in our opinion. We discovered we had very little to worry about. We had a fantastic time on-board ship. The ship itself although a little tired looking in places was fantastic. All the staff were courteous, well mannered and could not do enough to please us. We were...

Title: Absolute Exploitation Summary: This was our first and last cruise. We had paid tips in advance but notwithstanding this every drink we purchased still carted an 18% service charge and tax- therefore the price shown on the menu was false! I hated the continuous sell, sell, sell! The entertainment was best described as Burkina/Hi de Hi! Truly awful waste of time and money!

Title: Beautiful ship, lovely staff. Summary: Ship is as beautiful as ever. Staff in all areas are courteous and friendly. The Windjammer is always “jammed” full so my least liked area due to a few ignorant people who pushed in at the front of the queues. We mostly ate in the restaurant and the food was great. Loved the Viking Lounge. In all a lovely holiday.

Title: Mrs Summary: I was rather disappointed with this trip. The ship whilst modern, large and clean had totally inadequate facilities for the number of passengers. As someone on a restricted medical diet (gluten free) the choice of food in Windjammer and the coffee shop was very poor. On asking what was available it became apparent that there were gluten free options but these were always in the kitchens and had to be collected. This resulted in me...

Title: Feedback Summary: My wife and I enjoyed the cruise though the ports are not brilliant except perhaps Bilbau. However we are disappointed to note: 1) Smoking is allowed inside Casino in a limited area. Yet it is not uncomfortable to walk through the casino let alone whether we cal play games. Also it is not advisable due to fire risk. 2) During Formal days guests were allowed to wear trousers and short sleeves. It would have been...

Title: Don’t Know Summary: Waiters in all restaurants were fantastic. Our room attendant was also fantastic – he always seemed to be smiling, so always brightened our day. Our waiter (6pm formal seating) kept telling us there was a survey to fill in, but I can’t find it anywhere? We wanted to fill it in and give him 10/10! Excellent food as well Kids club not very good. My children were 6 and 11. 11 year old went twice...

Title: Excellent Navigator Cruise Summary: We’ve just returned from a seven night cruise to Northern Spain on N.o.t.Seas made possible for us due to an unbelievably good special offer from Bolsover (Many thanks, Bolsover, keep ’em coming ! ). It was our first RCI cruise ( we’ve only ever cruised with P&O ) and we were bowled over by it. A wonderful experience for us all (Two adults, two children sharing a four berth cabin on deck 6) from start...

Title: 9 Nights Mediterranean. Naples, Greek isles & Turkey Summary: First time on Royal Caribbean. Would we cruise with them again, YES! This was our 8th cruise and was really pretty good. Nice ship, smooth, lovely balcony room, no noise. Fantastic value for money. Though smaller than some RCI ships, at 2400 passengers, this was about right for us. Very efficient embarkation and dis-embarkation in Rome, with no problems. Fantastic mix of passengers on board & made some good friends. Shore itinerary was about right...

Title: Sep-16 Summary: Not enough staff , especially on the decks during the day. Some members of staff not very helpful , when cabin not cleaned one day a complaint was a waste of time, the room was left until the steward attended that evening. Exorbitant prices for drink on board ship, never been into a restuerant on an evening with the majority of people drinking wine. Alcohol purchased at port visits taken from you when going back...

Title: 1st time cruise… Summary: Overall the 1st cruise for us was fantastic.. Good points were ….. The ship was immaculate…. The service was impeccable…. The food was excellent. Cabin superb. The staff on board were brilliant. The holiday got off to a difficult start with toilet not working 4 days out of the 1st 6 days at sea….we wanted to move rooms but they said it was not possible. They offered us a bottle of wine as compensation which...

Title: First Mediterranean Cruise Summary: We ( two 69 year olds ) did a 13 night cruise from Southampton in Sept 2016 The ship is very big with lots to explore. We had a balcony stateroom 8602 on deck 8. The stateroom was very spacious, lots of storage and we enjoyed sitting on the balcony. The dining was excellent both in the dining room and self service restaurant. The staff were excellent, especially Maureen our state room attendant, also Julio...

Title: First Time with RCI Summary: Really enjoyed the friendly nature on board this ship which had it’s positive effect on the passengers. We loved the crew and their attention to detail. The layout of the ship was easy to negotiate and the deck-plans were well situated along with the interactive boards. Other pluses for us:- sliding doors onto the decks; towel station on the pool deck which prevented the lazy passengers from leaving their towels lying around ( a fine...

Title: September sun with no shade Summary: Spectacular ship. Has to be seen to be believed. A few disappointments though. We booked a central park balcony cabin which we expected to be a lovely quiet spot overlooking the beautiful central park. It was beautiful but we couldn’t sit on the balcony due to music blaring out constantly from the pool deck above. As we went in September it was very hot but there is hardly any shade on the whole ship. Lots...
