Iceland and Norway on Celebrity Eclipse

We recently returned from a two week cruise to Iceland, Faroe Islands and Norway. Celebrity follows the Royal Caribbean Cruise’s policy; to ensure that all guests have a great and memorable vacation and overall, this was the case for us. The service was five star, the staff were always helpful and friendly, the food and restaurants excellent, and the entertainment brilliant. The Eclipse was not as good as the ‘Independent of the Seas’ our cruise ship last year – the reason being that there was no where to enjoy a moment of piece and quiet (including the library and iLounge), unless you pay extra or remain in your stateroom. The Solarium could be a place to relax when not continually disturbed by noisy guests. The tours where well organised and good fun but expensive. We do consider the gratuities policy difficult to accept (15% automatically added for spa treatments).
