Great Cruise very poor flights

We cruised round the Adriatic 6th July 2012 on the Silhouette and had a wonderful cruise. Everything about the ship was first class. We ate in Blu which is not to be missed as the food was excellent. Staff were very friendly and there was a nice atmosphere on the ship. I would recommend the ship to anyone.

Now we go onto the flights. When we booked which was well in advance we had no details of the flights so we assumed they would be direct from Manchester to Venice going out and Rome to Manchester coming back home, not so. When the flights we confirmed they turned to be as follows. Manchester to Dusseldorf then Dusseldorf to Venice. What should have been a relatively short flight took in access of 6 hours, as you are going holiday it is something get on with. Now the really bad side to Celebrity.

We were shunted off the ship and deposited at Rome airport 5 hours before we had to fly. If that was not bad enough one couple who had a 7.00pm flight were at Rome airport 9 hours before there flight, shocking to say the least. My advice to anyone travelling with Celebrity is make sure you know your flights before you book.
