First time on Crystal Endeavor

Endeavor certainly surpassed my expectations, the cool, contemporary décor gave a lovely ambience with plenty of light and space. The Waterside restaurant was much larger than I anticipated, but also more spacious, great from a social distancing perspective. The food we were served was extraordinary (I haven’t got over how incredible the beef was!) the attention to detail and presentation was second to none.

From being greeted with champagne on arrival, all the crew we met throughout the ship were friendly and very attentive. Walking through the ship I noticed how bright the corridors were along the suite decks, and I loved the dual aspect suites with shared entrance but separate bedrooms. The suites truly represented six-star luxury to me. The furnishings were beautiful and inviting, equipped with everything you could want or need and plenty of wardrobe space which is a must on a voyage that would require lots of layers or clothing to suit a diverse itinerary.

The well-stocked library and public spaces were well thought out and again tastefully decorated. For a smaller ship I was surprised how spacious it felt. I loved Palm Court, the meeting place after a day adventuring, a great place to share stories of the days experiences.

One aspect that was perhaps a little different to how I imagined was the pool area, although I expected it to be on a smaller scale, I didn’t realise it would be surrounded by table which guests would be sat eating at. But, this is after all an expedition ship and its purpose, having the marina and plenty of outdoor deck space to enjoy the scenery of these far-flung places is of course paramount, and on that score it really delivered.

For anyone who enjoys luxury cruising and are perhaps looking for something a little different, a little more adventurous, then I would wholeheartedly recommend Crystal Endeavor. This stunning ship, the friendly and experienced crew and the diverse choice of itineraries she offers certainly offer a truly immersive six star experience.
