Japan to Vancouver
Ken Brown | June 26, 2023 | Cunard | Queen Elizabeth
A wonderful experience and we really enjoyed, but there were some issues. Food in the brittania restaurant was ok, but not great. Earlier dining times a bit of an issue. Food in the Lido warm at best. Missed an Alaskan port due to ( this is what we were told) the Canadian authorities needing to do a full immigration check? Surely Cunard should have had advance warning of this? We were also told they were concerned about a moth infestation? The result was we missed an Alaskan port and then laid at anchor for most of the day at Victoria. I think cut-backs were in evidence; no proper butter etc.
However, we had a wonderful time, mainly thanks to the people we met and the very engaging crew
