Wonderful cruise in wonderful weather
Elizabeth Gallimore | June 27, 2014 | Cunard | Queen Elizabeth
Second cruise on Cunard and everything was perfect – they even managed to find us two weeks of sunshine. Norway is expensive but the scenery is fantastic and cruising is definitely the best way to see the country. Been on Queen Victoria before and it is very similar. Good sized stateroom with plenty of storage space and to sit on the balcony in the sunshine at midnight was a very new experience.
Staff all friendly and everything seemed to work like clockwork. One of the courses on one of our evening meals was going to be delayed so our waiter asked if we would like a sorbet whilst we waited – good public relations and kept us happy!
Only grumble we have is that we booked many months in advance with a Vantage Fare and then found people with the same accommodation who had paid half as much as we had nearer the date of sailing! So much for Carnival’s promises.
