M Pearce | September 6, 2014 | Cunard | Queen Victoria
1st cruise on Cunard although have been a regular cruisers for many years. My wife and I found the Queen Victoria and the staff to be first class, the accommodation was more than adequate, the staff in all areas were efficient courteous, food of a very high quality in all areas if on occasion presentation lacked flair (comment not complaint) The ship although officially not British did give a feeling of old world style and design, over all very pleased with our experience and would recommend the Quen Victoria to friends. On the negetave side tours over priced as on all ships, although I under stand the gratuity system it is very expensive (although there is an opt out) the adding of a service charge to all purchase to be both annoying and unnecessary why not just add to the cost to the purchase same difference Cunard still receive the money. Finally the entertainment was 1st class ship spotless clean in all areas, port arrangements fast and efficient.
