xmas and new year cruise
Pauline Yvonne Dyehouse | January 22, 2023 | Cunard | Queen Victoria
We were unable to dock in Lanzarote due to high winds so this was changed to Las Palmas. We were then advised we would not be going to Lisbon as the ship was going into dry dock in Cadiz for 2 days. This was in fact known about before we set sail from Southampton. However, our shore time was severely restricted due to preparations etc for the repair. There was a shuttle bus service laid in overnight but when you are nearly 80 years old the prospect of going ashore late at night unescorted is not a very attractive proposition.
