We really enjoyed our cruise with the crew and shore staff looking after us very well. The itinerary
was very satisfactory and most of the shore excursions we chose were good. Our only negative points was that the vessel seems to be getting tired and needed some very tlc. For instance the air-conditioning
was switched off on one of the hottest days for maintenance. Also our cabin and all those in the stern of the vessel were without toilet facilities for about 15 hours. The entertainment and lectures were mediocre. Food could have been better for the evening meals in the main dining room.
After a number of cruises we tried Holland America as they seemed to have a reputation for being more up market than some of the other lines. I think in future we will stick with the lines we have travelled with in the past.
