Still a Princess fan

This was our first HL cruise and in the main it was satisfactory. However there were a number of minor niggles which you would not expect of a 5 star cruise line. eg – on our first night, two items on the cocktail list were unavailable , two choices of wine at dinner were also unavailable and the wine list we were given was out of date – correct prices were higher.
Organisation of breakfast in the Lido restaurant was abysmal; if you wanted a variety of cooked items you potentially had to queue up at two/three different stations to be served. We completed a half way survey and made the above comments and to be fair these points were discussed with Management. This action impressed us. Food quality in all restataurants was very good, staff were helpful and friendly.Overall we enjoyed the cruise but having been on several Princess cruises and hearing the supposed reputation of HL, perhaps we felt somewhat disappointed.
However this would not deter us giving them another try if the cruise was right.
Bolsover as usual were excellent and we have booked a PRINCESS cruise in June to North Cape with them.
