Journey to the bottom of the world – Antarctica and Patagonia
Stuart Handley | April 11, 2022 | Hurtigruten | MS Kong Harald
Much delayed due to Covid we finally made it on the third attempt. Not a cruise but an expedition, with more hurdles to jump in getting there than the Grand National. Hurtigruten have a communications problem, with mixed confused messaging throughout. All that said, (insert your own superlatives) WOWWWWW. ANTARCTICA is UNBELEIVABLE and worth all the hassle – and some. So privileged, would do it all again without doubt. We have marked down Condition & Comfort due to cabin noise in rough seas (B/Scale 8 & 10), with creaking of the fittings/furniture. One passenger thought they had an Albatross in their room! All staff/food excellent, some guides were less impressive – others outstanding knowledge.
