MSC Virtuosa Canary Islands October 2022

First time sailing from Southampton, car parked about 100 yards from the ship. Whole process from arriving at cruise terminal building to entering cabin took approximately 45 minutes. Slight issue with one suitcase, late arriving in cabin approx 4 hours after the first suitcase arrived, when it did arrive it had obviously been left dockside in the pouring rain as the majority of the contents were wet. Reception onboard offered laundry service at our cost. The cruise itself was probably the best we have been on certainly beats a P&O cruise taken in May this year on the Azura for the facilities on board, restaurants, bars, entertainment, excursions and technology in cabin and around the ship. The cost of the cruise included a Premium Drinks Package and gratuities this proved excellent value for money and is recommended prior to boarding ship. Maybe would consider a smaller capacity ship when next booking a cruise due to large numbers of passengers in buffet restaurant at popular times ie 8am – 9.45 am. Overall thoroughly enjoyed our time on the Virtuosa.
