Probably the worst cruise we have ever been on. Across the atlantic to New York was uneventful until arrival at New York. Disembarkation was horrendous -taking most of the day as far as we were concerned. Next day was in port and then before we left we had an announcement that Bar Harbour (the next Port of call) was cancelled – apparently due to swell and getting tenders off – we heard later in conversation that other cruise ships had no problems. We went straight to Boston. This was how the cruise was to continue – ports cancelled and ports we called at had curtailed time in port. In all we had three ports cancelled out of nine and spent 18 days on board. There were leaks all over the ship. I lost count of buckets; blocked toilets was an issue. Food was fine. Entertainment generally fine although talks were generally suitable only for male cruisers. The cruise company offered on board credit and 20% off the cruise cost to be spent on a future cruise, but of course this only benefits P&O. We were glad to get home.
