Just had a superb cruise on the fjords – check in was as smooth as silk – as was the sea – had the amazing ‘Perry’ entertaining us – have never seen the Piano Lounge so full (every night) with the laughter echoing down the stairs and through the ship – 2.5 hours non stop entertainment for 12 of the 14 nights. Other guest entertainers excellent. Food hot, more than enough and the steaks were tender (which is not always the case).
Super holiday, very relaxing, staff always smiling and we got a bit of a tan.
Have read number of reviews about check in – we ignore the given time – having experienced the July storm of 2007 across Britain as we travelled to Southampton and when Aurora delayed sailing for 3 hours to ensure maximum people boarded (some had to be flown to Palma) and Oriana 2 hours we don’t take any chances and would be quite happy to ‘hang around’ in the foyer looking forlorn until pity was taken on us than fret about getting there.
