Winter cruise Iberia, Canaries, Madiera & Azores November 2018
Trevor Swain | December 17, 2018 | P&O Cruises | Arcadia
Check in was smooth. The cabin was roomy and comfortable with usual 4/5* comforts. All the meals were of a high standard. There were multiple choices for all courses, enough to satisfy most people. We visited the Ocean Grill twice for Dinner and found the food and service to be of the highest standard. The service in both the Meridian and Grill to be First Class. The wine list was good. Prices starting at £15. The wine was available by the glass. The entertainment was very good. The first performances were very popular. Some were queuing 45 minutes before the start! It did not affect us, but we understand that people were waiting outside Meridian Restaurant for 1 hour prior to its opening! This to secure a table for two. The cabin was maintained beautifully. Sheets and towels were changed regularly.
This was our 3rd Adult only cruise. The average age is 75yrs. There was a higher percentage of wheelchair users than we had noted before
