14 day Western Med cruise
Sandra Hughes | October 29, 2023 | P&O Cruises | Arvia
We returned from this cruise a few weeks ago. Unfortunately I caught Covid on day 11 so my review is overshadowed by this experience.
We had previously been on the sister ship Iona last year twice and we thoroughly enjoyed both trips. This time we didn’t enjoy the cruise as much. The entertainment quality was mixed as was the food, a bit hit and miss! We found a lot of the passengers were obviously blasé as regards covid, probably because of the change of policy by P&O , and hygiene habits were not top of their concerns! I informed the medical centre of my positive test and was required to isolate for the last three days in my cabin which I conformed with, but I am certain many others just don’t bother! Spoilt our overall enjoyment, P & O did look after us very well though. Unfortunately you can’t just trust people to use common sense or responsibility to others! We will be avoiding the large ships in future as these seem to attract many of these people!
