Arvia Southampton to Antigua
Alan | January 30, 2023 | P&O Cruises | Arvia
No welcome drink but a half glass of bubbly on the first black tie night. Long waits for lifts 6 of the 22 were out of service. Food depending on where you ate was acceptable and hot or virtually cold (horizon restaurant), the American diner also had issues. Shore tours were hit or miss, several were reported poor quality. Music and shows were excellent but the sky dome acoustics were painfully bad! Even the sound crew hated it, on the last night a singer’s act was halted due to rain, yes rain the couldn’t close the roof. We unfortunately picked up covid and got isolated (6 days each and individually) no fault can be placed on the ship but did make a poor cruise worse. Butlin’s at Sea should be the title. On a very positive side staff were doing their best and the two waiters we had in the Meridian restaurant were fantastic
