Excellent cruise with a few minor issues.
Raymond Quayle | October 16, 2023 | P&O Cruises | Arvia
Being relatively new to cruising we are still in the honeymoon stage of this type of holiday. Arvia is a beautiful ship with countless places to eat and many splendid bars covering everyone’s preferences. Generally the quality and choice of food and drinks were of a high standard. The one poor dining experience was in the Beach House, poor service and menu choices. Entertainment was of the highest quality apart from the Take That show which was poorly scripted and had a disappointing storyline. Guest artists were good and accompanied by the ship’s musicians who were highly skilled. The vast majority of crew were highly professional, courteous, friendly and well trained, a credit to the organisation. Our cabin stewardess was excellent. The ship was clean, our cabins spacious with a decent size balcony to watch the world go by. Virtual booking of restaurants was an issue initially until we got used to the system but it could do with looking at because in reality it is not Freedom Dining which we had booked. Free Wi -Fi should be offered.
