First Caribbean cruise
Simon Smith | March 12, 2023 | P&O Cruises | Arvia
Arvia is a wonderfully designed and a beautiful new ship. However it’s fair to say there are a few issues which could be reviewed,
Entertainment:- the sound quality and graphics at times in the sky dome, the club house and the theatre were left wanting which detracted from performances.
Sunbeds and chairs :- On sea days although the crew attempted to do a good job there were times when people were sitting on one chair and resting their feet on another as other passengers had deposited belongings on sunbeds and disappeared for meals,!!
Menus:- We were very disappointed that the chefs table evenings weren’t the luxury evenings we envisioned, both evenings had the same menu which wasn’t made clear when booking.
Also they could have been located in more suitable surroundings for what after all is a gala event.
the menu’s in the main meridian and zenith restaurants although good quality food were very repetitive.
All the crew we met were very pleasant and courteous.
We did overall enjoy our cruise and have booked another cruise(smaller ship)whilst onboard, and it’s fair to say would think several times before booking on such a large ship in the future..
