Pleasantly surprised Arvia
Paul B | October 22, 2023 | P&O Cruises | Arvia
Last year we were on Iona, the first full capacity cruise after COVID, and there were many things we did not enjoy; shortage of staff, waiting ages to get a table on the app, couldn’t get in speciality restaurants, shortage of basic drinks.
We were very pleased that we faced none of these problems on Arvia ( med cruise 1st-13th Oct). The ship was very clean, the staff were great and the food was really good.
Following our experience on Iona, we did pre book each speciality restaurant plus beach house and Olive Grove before sailing, this led to a much more relaxing experience than relying on the app to get in the MDR each evening. We only ate in the MDR once, and the wife says it was the worst meal of the cruise.
Weather was great, ports were good, ship was full, but even on sea days there were always seats available in the atrium area.
Very enjoyable cruise, no complaints.
