Wonderful Arvia but oh the MDR
Liz | October 22, 2023 | P&O Cruises | Arvia
Our 15th cruise with P&O. Arvia is a most wonderful ship, as is her sister Iona. We were on the maiden at Christmas and noticed quite a difference in the amount of visible staff on board, embarkation/disembarkation as smooth as silk and swift, cabin on deck 14 port side lovely and comfortable with the bed by the sliding doors, Freddie our steward a joy, always had a smiling face. Would award six stars to Green & Co for amazing plant based food. Only thumbs down was to the MDR’s, gone is the old style interaction with your waiters, everyone seemed miserable, standard of the food offered poor IMHO. Horizon buffet greatly improved though.
