Aurora Eastern med 9 day cruise Oct 2013
Andy Perrin | August 31, 2013 | P&O Cruises | Aurora
Very comfortable mid sized ship, typically a cruise from about 10 -15 years ago.Very well organized, sensible pricing on board and a great itinerary. We felt that Aurora was very stable, although we didn’t see any kind of choppy sea which we expected in the Biscay.Even the Capitaine was surprised at the flat seas we enjoyed.
The ship itself could do with a refit and feels tired, but having said that,we thoroughly enjoyed out time on board and I suppose it is not fair to compare this mid sized near 20 year old ship with the much larger modern vessels.
I would recommend Aurora to anyone cruising for the first time and those who want a quiet ,peaceful, enjoyable time aboard a welcoming and pleasant ship.
I have awarded 3 stars out of five based on my overall experience on board and this is personal to me based on a lot of other cruises I have enjoyed.
P and O are without doubt a hugely experienced cruise line and I will certainly book with their ships again.
