Azura cabin review
Rob Davey | September 18, 2017 | P&O Cruises | Azura
Our whole cruise was spoilt by our toilet not functioning properly for the entire cruise! Our poor cabin steward & us reported it DAILY!!
A plumber visited twice, saying it would be a long repair but didn’t fix it!!!
We used public toilets more than ours in the cabin. We feel that if it was a toilet in a public area it would have been fixed immediately!
We feel sorry for the people joining Azura today who have the misfortune of staying in C635!
Attached below is a copy of our comment written on P&O customer survey form.
We have always been very pleased with P&O, recommending you to many friends & family, not considering using a different cruise line but after this experience we are seriously thinking about it, perhaps Celebrity or RCI.
Extract from our survey
“P&O was generally up to its usually high standards unfortunately the cruise was let down and spoilt by the shabby cabin
We reported the flush not working on day one and was still not working correctly on the morning we left.
It was quite embarrassing for us to leave the unflushed loo for the steward when we left.
No fault of the steward he reported it daily, we reported it to reception daily, two plumbers called and informed us it was going to be a long repair…..and that’s how it was left.
I am sure that if this loo was in a public area it would have not been left ( especially as it would flush on its own when enough vacuum was reached, which we thought was very dangerous!)
We used public loos more often than our cabin loo for that reason.
The carpet in the cabin was badly worn in places and needed replacing.”
